Chameleon Adaptable Hose End Sprayer

This leaked the first time. It was a complete pain to use and I got completely soaked during the application because I had no other sprayer option.

I wasted hours trying to get this sprayer to work properly. It does not draw from the reservoir. I have no idea if the nematodes were dispersed at all in the majority of my property. I ran a test. Put 8oz of colored water in the reservoir and set the sprayer to 8oz per gallon rate. I applied into a 5 gal bucket and still had 8oz of colored water in reservoir. The bucket water was slightly colored so some product was being applied but who knows at what rate.

Water spurts out on all the connections except where the hose connects. Tried taping with electrical tape but doesn't help. I'm reverting back to my empty spectricide hose end bottle. Only drips slightly.

Mixed nematodes as well as possible-they come dry and clumpy so it doesn't dissolve easily- but the sprayer just seemed to spray water directly from the hose, never cycling through the container to distribute the nematodes. Had to use a spray bottle I had on hand, in the end.

I have never used one of these before, so I have no frame of reference about how this compares, but it seemed to work quite well. Play with the delivery rate before you use it with an actual product and it should work out well.

Total garbage, clogged up on second filling. Couldn't use all the $100.00 product that I purchased. This is my second attempt to spray my back yard. Now I'm $200.00 in the hole. Not happy

Excellent Device - works as described. I had zero problems with the Chameleon hose end sprayer doing its job. It worked beautifully. I used it to release beneficial Nematodes. It's nice the sprayer has a dial for measuring how much liquid is dispursed, and there's a short Arbico You Tube video I referenced to make sure I had the dial set correctly - I found that very helpful. * Note - I have rheumatoid arthritis, and because of that, I am unable to move the dial on this device at all. I also had trouble screwing the water canister back on to the sprayer simply because is too large for my hands. These issues are of no fault to the hose-end sprayer, I would have trouble with any sprayer because of my condition. I'm only noting this for others with R. Arthritis who may be wondering if they will be able to use it. While you may be able to screw the water canister on and off, it's doubtful you will ever be able to move the dial measuring the amount of water dispursed. It is extremely stiff. If you choose this sprayer, you WILL need some help. There is also a trigger that has to be held which releases the water. However, I rigged that to stay open since I have a separate on/off switch at the end of my hose. The trigger was no obstacle for me. That being said - the Chameleon hose end sprayer did work beautifully once it was set up. I highly recommend it!

I knew when I purchased this that there were some issues, but this was ridiculous. I was spraying the "test run", and even in the test run it didn't seem like the sprayer was drawing out of the container like it was suppose to. Well when you try to spray the nematodes it clogged up right away, even though I felt like I had done a good job of mixing them up.

The Hose End sprayer arrived in a crushed package and the container was squashed. An email to Arbico along with a photo resolved the situation. A replacement was sent immediately and arrived within a few days. After reading the easy instructions I applied a selection of nematodes to the vegetable garden.

Much better than the ones I have bought from big box stores. No leaks and when we'll rinsed, can use multiple times

This started squirting water around the quick-connect attachment after the first half hour of use.

This sprayer worked flawlessly!!! I was so pleased with the ease of use it was to spray my acre sized lawn & garden beds.

Sprayer inconsistent when working. Dial constantly moved and inconsistent amount sprayed. Sprayer quick release would not maintain the spray on the hose. One use and threw it away. Used another hose sprayer attachment for fertilizer and finished the job. No stars as it never did work properly but had to put one star to get review to post.

Not a keeper...more of a use and toss. Performance was average 3/5 but downgraded to a 2 because it stopped working. Tried to be diligent about mixing nematodes. Epic Failure...next time I will use a sieve.

I hadn't used a sprayer like this before. Good instruction, sturdy design, good price

The sprayer comes with filters on the intake tubes. It clogs immediately when spraying Nematodes due to Nematodes being shipped in a cake that does not dissolve completely in water. Needed to remove the filter from tube, but not sure how much of the lawn was missed due to clog. The sprayer also has no spray range. I have good water pressure and water from sprayer only sprays 1 to 2 feet from nozzle. Check your local hardware store for better sprayer.

I used this sprayer for 4 seasons and it worked well. A little leaky sloppy at times, but genuinely got the job done! My 5th season, I accidentally dropped it and it broke the Sprayer handle to where it was no longer usable. I like the features of this sprayer and ease of use. Hopefully they will be back in stock soon!

very inconsistent water volume. dial picky, a slight move to either side changed amount sprayed so had to make sure was centered perfectly.

I used this sprayer earlier today to bring three varieties of Nematodes into our landscaping. Was pretty straightforward to setup and to use. Did two batches of each of the three nematode varieties. On & off three hoses around our yard. Key point is to remove the filter at the lower end siphon tube. And to break up the nematodes before you put them in plastic container. But the top on & keep shaking periodically to ensure uniform application. It was flawless. Applied to around 30 small plants/trees used the fine spray setting.

The sprayer worked for the two or three tests, with plain water, then on the first two with the actual product, then it stopped working.

would work ok for nematodes, I guess, but all spray patterns are super heavy - can't get anything up in a tree and comes out so fast in such a strong stream you'll use way more concentrate than needed for a foliar spray.

The sprayer worked initially but after 15 minutes had a problem and no longer works. I couldn't figure out how to fix it and the instructions didn't have any troubleshooting advice. I would not buy this again

I bought to spray nematodes and sometimes it would work and sometimes not. Half my lawn it would empty at proper rate, but then I would refill container and make sure it wasn't clogged and then spray and spray and the liquid would never go down. I'd end up just over watering my lawn. I finally gave up and poured into a watering can. Then threw this thing into the garbage. I've used it and have been frustrated with it far too many times to give it another chance. Two stars instead of one only because when it did work I was happy.

Without a question this is the best hose end sprayer on the market. It's made well. It works as it should. The user simply needs the know-how to calculate how much product is needed for your project. The price is right.

This is a great product with a wide range of control for applying different agents. I bought one to apply nematodes to my yard. Before I could finish the application the sprayer stopped spraying, unless I held the bottle and the hose tightly together, while trying to operate the trigger. I wish it would have lasted longer.
