This easy-to-use hose end sprayer automatically mixes the correct amount of product for a flawless liquid application with no fuss. Product is poured directly into the jar and then sprayed. It has 12 settings from 1 tsp. to 6 gals. and 3 spray patterns - stream (ideal for hard to reach areas and trees), flat fan (for wide surfaces like lawns) and shower (nice and gentle for delicate flowers and foliage).

Suggested Uses: Use with a garden hose to apply insecticide, fungicide, herbicide and fertilizer concentrates.

Two Step Spraying Instructions –

  1. Select the desired spray pattern.
  2. Set the Product Control Knob to the proper amount of product called for per gallon and spray.
Cleaning Instructions – Thoroughly wash out mix tank and spray attachment with water after every use. For thicker sprays, it may be helpful to use a small amount of dish soap to remove residues. Your sprayer will give you many years of service if it is properly maintained.

I purchased this to distribute the nematodes I ordered and it worked really well. It is nice that it has different settings and it is very easy to use.

I've tried using my sprayer, but it leaks water all over my hands, and I'm not sure if the product I'm spraying is actually leaving the container. I see the container full with nitrogen after spraying for 10-15 minutes. I read the the instructions, but not sure if I'm doing it right. It's harder than I thought.

DO NOT BUY THIS SPRAYER. The jar falls off if you attempt to tighten it even a tiny bit (you will lose your product). The included fittings leak BADLY. I bought this for spraying / mixing nematodes and every single time I've used it, I've spilled / lost 1/2 my product because it's SUCH A BAD DESIGN.

After the first test run to see how it will distribute my nematodes, the container fell off on three consecutive attempts. Each time the entire reservoir spilled, losing all the the nematode product I bought (was not bumped, hit, nor was I moving quickly). I tried tightening it, losening it, etc, and it just falls off for no reason. It's very loose fitting. You'll waste your product with this sprayer like I did.

The BONIDE Auto Mix Hose End Sprayer gets the job done, but its construction and water efficiency are lacking. The connection to the hose is OK -- leaks some when at maximum tightened fit; but the connection in the sprayer itself -- where the two purple pieces / fittings join each other (see product photo) leaks profusely with a steady flood of wasted water, and you cannot adjust that connection in any way to decrease or eliminate that stream of wasted water (at least -- on my sprayer there was no functional effect). This - for me -- is a basic design flaw that not only wastes a whole lot of water, but also soaks your shoes and feet when you momentarily forget to hold the sprayer far enough away from your body during any spraying / sweeping motion. Other than this wasteful, shoe-soaking nuisance, the sprayer output is acceptable. Would I buy this sprayer again? Nope.

The plastic screw on tank falls off incredibly easily. There is no gasket, or seal. If you overtighten the tank ever so slightly (and it doesn't take much), it falls right off. It will dump your concentrate. Bought this to spray nematodes, and lost half of my purchased quantity, because the tank fell off after about two seconds.

Plastic Quick-Detach Doesn't Work Very Well

I bought this sprayer to spread nematodes on the lawn to try and help with a mole problem, overall it functions well but be prepared to get wet. The idea of the quick-detach hose connection is great in concept but really tested my patience because it doesn't seem to handle any real water pressure. I first tried using the sprayer with the water spigot fully open but the quick-detach would simply detach, the pressure was too high (this is with a regular water hose from the house). After a few minutes of trial and error I ended up barely opening the spigot and it would finally stay attached, though water consistently leaks from the connection. It's not a deal breaker and I'll be the first to admit that I could've done something wrong, but it's very self-explanatory and I don't recall the sprayer coming with specific connection instructions.

It worked very well for spraying nematodes it was easy to adjust oz. per gallon. I will use it with my organic fish fertilizer as well.

It mixes and sprays. Two cautions: Firstly, even on the jet setting it doesn't spray far, so you will need a long hose, or a better sprayer. Two: don't change spray patterns WHILE spraying or the water backs up into the canister and overflows it, throwing off your dilution and making a mess.

Didn't receive the same pictured. The one I got kept falling apart, leaked and wouldn't draw from the mix. Probably won't stop me from buying additional todes though provided those are effective.
