Moles
There are many species of moles worldwide, and at least 7 are present in the United States. Moles are sometimes considered beneficial to gardeners and farmers because they eat insects and grubs. However, they are a nuisance when they demolish lawns and turf grasses in homes and golf courses through their tunneling. They also destroy gardens by separating plant roots from the soil. Moles have an insatiable appetite and they eat between 70 - 100% of their body weight daily.
There are several methods of control ranging from exclusion with metal frames and baskets to control of the grubs using beneficial nematodes and Milky Spore. Try the products shown below to deter mole populations in your garden and lawn.
