Yellow Stiky Tape

A New Longer Length to Cover Even More Area.

When you have an insect population in a large area that you need to monitor and trap, this sticky tape is the answer for you. Yellow Stiky Tape utilizes certain insects' attraction to the color yellow to trap them on its sticky surface. Yellow sticky traps are used to attract, trap and monitor aphids, thrips, fungus gnats, and many others types of insects. Pre-coated with adhesive on both sides, Yellow Stiky Tape rolls are 530' long and come in 4 convenient and varied widths as indicated – 2", 6", 10" and 12".

The cardboard flanges and heavy duty plastic plugs make these rolls easy to work with and the product easy to apply/dispense. Loop along the perimeter of fields or gardens and inside greenhouses.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR HOUSE FLIES, VARIOUS LIVESTOCK FLIES, OR LANTERN FLIES. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE AS A TREE BAND OR TREE WRAPPING.

Disappointed with this product

I purchased this as it was recommended to me by fellow Landscapers for wrapping trees in trapping lantern flies. However, it doesn't work. The lantern flies walk right up it and do not become stuck. A waste of 100.00$.

I ordered this tape believing that the Spotted Lanterfly nymphs and adults would just stick to it "like glue". I must have the smartest flies around as they move around the tape stuck to my deck railings and they seem avoid the tape on the trees. I was disappointed to say the least.

Effective Barrier, but Spotted Lantern Flies do not stick to it.

The product is an excellent barrier to the climbing spotted lantern flies; however, they do not stick to it. The glue is very slippery, so they cannot climb; however, they just jump off to go elsewhere. This product is not an effective spotted lantern fly trap. The tape is also not easy to handle as the stickiness gets all over everything. The stickiness does last for at least 3 weeks of weather, so that part is good.

This material is not worth the time and effort to trap Spotted Lantern Fly. I don't know how it became rated as such but it has been a waste of time and money!

Put this up on many trees to catch lantern flies, and I'm very disappointed. Catches some, but most lantern flies Simply crawl across or jump off. Does not seem sticky enough to hold them.

works great. Much better value than little cards. Put 8" strips on top of dirt/sand for every plant. Use pliers to avoid getting adhesive all over fingers. 80% reduction in activity overnight.

This stuff is no good, it can't catch a fly, it's not stick enough.... A fly or bug goes on it and I watch them come off again!! NO GOOD... SORRY

Definately Catches thrips and flies

I wasn't even able to get a strip of this rolled out before there were flies landing on it getting caught. I got this in the hopes of catching all the bugs in my raspberries that are sucking all the juice from the fruits and ruining all the berries. I have wasps, cucumber beetles, squash bug looking beetles, thrips, flies, bees, all manner of bugs totally destroying the fruits, so I got this sticky tape in hopes to arrest them all but have learned that it works great for flies and thrips, the adhesive is not copious enough to get the beetles and wasps and any of those type of bugs. They land on it and get caught for just a second, but are able to quickly break away and carry on with their crime.

The 6" width of the tape may be too wide. It has the tendency to fold in on itself. A 4" width may be better--not so heavy. It does exactly what it is advertised to do. It works especially well when it is hanging near a fly trap.
