Our Live Cocoon Capers provide and ideal protein supplement for reptiles and birds! These are live fly pupae of the domestic housefly (Musca domestica). Either feed as unhatched pupae or as hatched adult flies. They will begin to hatch into flies in approximately two days without refrigeration. Keep refrigerated for up to one week prior to feeding. One ounce is ≈500 pupae.
