EcoSmart Insect Killer Spray is an exceptional insecticide for controlling many of the most troublesome insects plaguing your garden, lawn and other outside spaces (ants, beetles, crickets, flies, German cockroaches and mosquitoes). This earth-friendly spray uses the active ingredients of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and essential oils from plants to kill on contact.
EcoSmart Insect Killer Spray is ready-to-use and comes in a container that hooks directly into a hose for application. As you spray, the water and product will mix automatically.
- Safe for use around children and pets when used as directed.
- Some plants with tender tissues and/or new growth may be sensitive to the oils in this product. If in doubt, test spray before using and don't use if leaf burn or spotted is noted.

EcoSmart Insect Killer Spray can be used on lawns, ornamental trees, shrubs and flowers, mulch and straw beds, around home foundations (perimeter treatment), porches and patios.DO NOT use on fruits, vegetables and other food plants.

BEFORE YOU USE:
- Do not use if temperatures are expected to be over 85° F.
- Spray in early morning or evening when it is cooler. Do not apply in mid-day sunlight as temporary leaf burn may occur.
- Some plants with tender tissue and/or tender new growth may be sensitive to oils. If not sure, test spray a few leaves one day before spraying entire plant. Do not use on plant if leaf burn or spotting is observed.
- Avoid spraying new tender flower blooms.
- While staining is unlikely, as with most household products, it is recommended that this product is tested for possible staining on an inconspicuous area of home siding (especially vinyl siding) and rechecked in a few hours. Do not use on siding if any staining is observed. A test duration of 48 hours or more is recommended.
HOW TO USE:
- Connect sprayer to hose. Make sure the dial indicator on the nozzle is in the "OFF" position behind the safety tab.
- Turn on water. Extend hose to the farthest area to be treated and work back towards tthe faucet to ensure complete coverage.
- To BEGIN spraying, hold container upright and point nozzle toward treatment site (do not aim toward the ground). Bend the small plastic safety tab back with your thumb and turn knob clockwise until it stops in the "ON" position. Water will automatically mix with the product.
- Spray as directed in the instructions for each use site below.
- To STOP spraying, bend the small plastic safety tab back and turn dial counter-clockwise until the dial indicator is in the "OFF" position behind the safety tab.
- Turn water off. To relieve pressure before removing sprayer from the hose, bend the safety tab back and turn dial to "WATER" until the water stops spraying. Then turn back to the "OFF" position.
- Disconnect sprayer from hose.
FOR APPLICATIONS ON LAWNS/LANDSCAPES:
- Use entire bottle (1 quart) of product to treat up to 5,000 sq ft of lawn.
- Apply evenly over desired area as a thorough coverage spray. Delay watering or mowing for 24 hours after application for optimum control of surface pests.
- Repeat as listed pests are seen.
FOR APPLICATION ON ORNAMENTAL TREES, SHRUBS & FLOWERS:
- Apply as a thorough foliar spray.
- Wet leaves and branches to the dripping point. Try to spray underside of leaves and penetrate dense foliage.
- Apply every 5 to 7 days when pests are present.
- Repeat as listed pests are seen.
Note: Do not use on large trees or where pest populations are inaccessible to reach with spray as inadequate control will result.
FOR APPLICATIONS AROUND HOUSE FOUNDATIONS (PERIMETER TREATMENT), PORCHES AND PATIOS:
- To keep listed pests from entering the house, thoroughly spray a 2 foot band of soil around the house next to the foundation, and around porches and patios.
- Also, spray the foundation of the house to a height of 2 feet.
- Repeat every 3 to 4 weeks, or as listed pests are seen.
Storage: Turn nozzle to OFF position. Store in original container in a cool, dry area and avoid excess heat. Keep from freezing. Do not reuse container.
