Greenstone Metabasalt is a mineral-rich material organic product derived from metamorphosed volcanic basalt. This type of basalt has been altered by intense heat and pressure from volcanic forces over millions of years. As a result of these forces, Metabasalt has a strong mineral content, which gives it its natural green color (and its name). Greenstone Metabasalt will provide a slow release of the vital plant nutrients calcium, magnesium and iron.
