Using Pinene, a natural and non-toxic product made from the resin of pine trees, Wilt Stop forms an anti-transpiramt layer on plant surfaces. This clear, soft film keeps moisture within plant foliage and provides protection from the damaging and often fatal effects of excessive moisture loss due to climatic conditions, when roots are disturbed in transplanting, or when cuttings are made from plants. Drought, windburn, sun scald, transplant shock, winter kill, salt damage and drying out are some of the conditions that Wilt Stop can help mitigate. Although this product provides an effective barrier for your plants, it does not interfere with a plants natural growth.

Suggested Uses: Provides a clear coating on plants that holds moisture within plant foliage and extends and protects plant life.
Growing Tip: Wilt Stop may turn blue spruce and similar species of evergreens a green color. If this occurs, natural coloring will return with the next season's growth. Not for use on African violets or exotic, slow-growing dwarf plants. Do not use on any variety of arborvitae, cedar, cypress, chamaecyparis, juniper, sequoia, dwarf conifer or similar plant species without testing first.
Always shake well before using and water plants thoroughly prior to application. Spray tops and bottoms of leaves, needles and stems to run-off. Thorough coverage is important. Sunlight is needed for the protective film to properly set. Always allow Wilt Stop to dry outdoors in daylight. Apply at least 1 hour prior to rainfall. Wash sprayer with warm water and detergent after use.
Transplanting - For spring, summer and fall transplanting, water plants thoroughly (when possible) before spraying with Wilt Stop. Do not spray or dip roots.
For Drought and Windburn Protection - Spray once each season, in the spring.
For Winter Protection - Spray in the late fall when temperature is above freezing so that spray will not freeze on foliage. When spraying on arborvitae, cypress, juniper and cedar, be aware that if species have not sufficiently hardened off for the winter whereby moisture retreats to the root system, moisture in plant cells could freeze and burse if early severe freezing weather should occur. Do not use for winter protection where temperatures drop below -22°F.
Christmas Trees, Wreaths and Greens - Spray cut or live plants before bringing indoors.
Cut Flowers - Spray to extend their freshness and beauty.
Houseplants - Spray houseplants to reduce water requirements.
Bulbs, Tubers, Bare Root Stock and Dormant Roses - Dip or spray to prevent drying out during storage.
Salt Damage - Spray foliage to protect plants from salt damage in salt water areas and near roadways where salt is used to melt snow and ice.
For Summer Scald - Water plants normally, then apply Wilt Stop to point of run-off.
Application Rate: (Dilution For Concentrate)
To make 1 quart (32 fl. oz.) of finished product to be applied with a trigger sprayer, begin with an empty 1 quart bottle, add 27 fl. oz. of water, then add 5 fl. oz. of Wilt Stop, for a total of 32 fl. oz. (1 qt.) of finished spray. Screw on trigger sprayer then SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING and frequently during use to keep product mixed well.
Storage: Store and transport in a sealed and upright position. Freezing does not harm Wilt Stop; simply shake well prior to use.
Warning & Toxicities: Keep out of reach of children. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
