Torched is made with a combination of natural ingredients including Clove Oil, Cornmint Oil and soaps in a concentrated formula. This makes it a safe and effective herbicide for use around homes, gardens and farms when used as directed. Because its ingredients are gentle to people and pets, but hard on weeds, this spray can be used on a wide range of areas including driveways, sidewalks, gardens and flower beds.
This non-selective, post emergent herbicide works uses the power of botanical oils and a surfactant to dehydrate broadleaf weeds and grasses down to the roots.
Torched works best at temperatures over 60°F and generally only takes one application (except for those especially tough weeds). It begins working on contact and does not stop until it has killed down to, and including, the root.
Please note: It can take 4-5 days for Torched to fully kill unwanted plants. Torched works best if sprayed on a sunny day. If it rains within 24 hours of application, you may need to re-apply.
The Torched Difference:
- Contains a surfactant for more effective "sticking" to the plant surface.
- Safe for use around bees and pollinators when used as directed. Does not bioaccumulate.
- Safe to spray around pets, grazing livestock, chickens and poultry houses when used as directed.
- Ideal for use around fence lines, sidewalks, unplanted flower beds, driveways and more.
- This product is not registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency since it qualifies for exemption under FIFRA section 25(b) as a minimum risk pesticide.
Due to it's non-selective nature, it is not recommended to spray on lawns unless using as a burn down.
Suggested Uses:
Use for control of broadleaf weeds and grasses around gardens, shrubs, flower beds, driveways, sidewalks, patios, borders, outside walls, mulch beds, gravel beds, fencerows, foundations, buildings, kennels, coops and animal enclosures.
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE
Dilution Rate: Mix 8-10 oz. per gallon of water and pour mixture into a suitable sprayer.
When To Apply: Apply when weeds are actively growing. For best results, apply during warm (above 60°F), sunny weather. Spray only when the air is calm to prevent drift to desirable plants. Re-treat if it rains within 24 hours of spraying.
How To Apply:
- Hold nozzle 6" away from area to be treated.
- Cover area with spray, but not to the point of runoff.
- If needed, reapply to hard-to-kill weeds after 5-7 days.
- Protect desirable plants during application by shielding them with cardboard or plastic. If accidentally sprayed, immediately rinse the plants and surrounding area with large amounts of water.
It is recommended to wait 2 weeks after applying Torched to replant the treated area.
Not for aquatic use.
Storage: Avoid direct sunlight. Store at temperatures above 40° F. Keep container tightly closed in a well-ventilated area. Store in original container in a cool, dry area away from children and pets. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local regulations. Do not reuse empty container. If empty: Offer for recycling if available or discard in a sanitary landfill. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
