Neemix 4.5 is a broad-spectrum Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) botanical insecticide. Once a targeted insect (in its larval or nymph form) larvae or nymph comes into contact with or ingests Neemix 4.5 it interferes with its ability to molt. Although this product kills only immature stages (larvae or nymphs), treated larvae may die as pupae. Additionally, it repels and deters feeding in all the life stages of targeted insects. Neemix 4.5 is deadly to many sucking and chewing insects, but it has minimal impact on beneficial insects and posed no hazard to mammals and birds.
When using a product that relies on direct contact with the insect for maximum efficacy, it can be challenging to make that important connection. This is especially true with insects like whiteflies that feed on the underside of leaves. Neemix 4.5 addresses this issue by penetrating the plant via translaminar movement, which means it is absorbed through the leaf surface to affect the insect on the other untreated side. Repeated applications of Neemix 4.5 establish a barrier within the plant to prevent future establishment of infestations.
- For use on vegetables, melons, strawberries, bearing and nonbearing fruit and nut trees, grapevines, caneberries, and other food crops raised for transplanting to production fields. Use on crops in the field, in and around commercial nurseries, greenhouses and mushroom houses.
- Not for use in food-handling establishments.
- The pH of spray solution containing Neemix 4.5 must be kept between 3 and 8. Use spray solutions within several hours of preparation for maximum effectiveness. Do not store diluted solution for later use.
- When using lower application rates (less than 10 fl. oz.), combine Neemix 4.5 with an approved adjuvant such as a non-phytotoxic crop oil, up to 1% for improved spray coverage and translaminar uptake.
- Do not apply to wilted or otherwise stressed plants, or to newly transplanted material prior to root establishment.
- Do not apply to known spray-sensitive plants without testing first.
- Application Rates: Target 30 ppm spray solution by using 4-10 oz. per 100 gallons of carrier.
- OMRI listed and NOP compliant.
- 0-day Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI) and 4-hour re-entry interval (REI).

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- Use with any suitable ground, aerial, or hand application equipment that allows for uniform coverage of the targeted treatment area.
- Use with care when applying near streams, ponds, lakes of other bodies of water. DO NOT apply when weather conditions favor drift or when the likelihood of runoff is high.
- The pH of spray solution containing Neemix 4.5 must be kept between 3 and 8. Use spray solutions within several hours of preparation for maximum effectiveness. Do not store diluted solution for later use.
- Do not apply to wilted or otherwise stressed plants, or to newly transplanted material prior to root establishment.
- Do not apply to known spray-sensitive plants without testing first.
TANK MIXING:
Neemix 4.5 is compatible with most commonly used fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers. Check physical compatibility first by doing a small jar test. Then, test tank-mix combinations for phytotoxicity on a sample of plants prior to use. This must be done with combinations used before as environmental conditions can alter the interaction between compounds. Do not mix Neemix 4.5 with oxidizing agents such as bleach, or strong acids and bases as they will destabilize the product.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE ON FIELD-GROWN FOOD CROPS:
Application Rate: Apply 0.25 - 1 pint (4 - 16 fl. oz.) of Neemix 4.5 per acre in a manner to obtain uniform and complete plant coverage. For agronomic crops apply using conventional ground application equipment in a minimum of 30 gallons of water and aerial application equipment in a minimum of 3 gallons of water. Use the low rate as a preventative when pest pressure is low, or if used in conjunction with adulticide products. Otherwise, use the high rate. The maximum application rate is 20 grams active ingredient or less per acre according to the tolerance exemption (40 CFR 180.1119).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE IN GREENHOUSES (OR OTHER COVER) AND PLANT NURSERIES:
Apply Neemix 4.5 in sufficient water to ensure adequate plant coverage. Use 1-2 gallons of spray solution per 1,000 square feet, or a minimum of 30 gallons of water per acre for conventional application equipment (3 gallons of water per acre for low/ultralow volume equipment). When using lower rates (less than 10 fl. oz.), combine Neemix 4.5 with an approved adjuvant such as a non-phytotoxic crop oil, up to 1% for improved spray coverage and translaminar uptake. Repeat applications every 7-10 days or as needed to maintain control.
Please refer to the manufacturer's label under the DOCS tab to get more extensive directions for use, including applications for chemigation, commercial lawns/ turf, mushroom houses, as well as pest-specific applications.
