ARBICO's Good Bug Power Meal is a food supplement that contains proteins, fats, fiber, ash, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, amino acids, vitamins, lactose, and sucrose for your beneficials. Apply it as a sprayable powder on flowers and crops, either indoors or outdoors. Can also be used directly as a dry powder or as the nectar source in butterfly feeders.

Consider using Good Bug Power Meal to supplement certain mite predators once prey mite populations have dwindled.

Application rate: 4 oz. size is enough to treat approx. 3,000 sq. ft. when mixed with 1 gallon of water or mix 1 tablespoon with 1 quart water for smaller quantities. For an acre, mix a ½ lb of meal in 5-10 gallons of water and apply to one half of the acreage being fed.

Hi! I would like to say thank you for offering this product. According to the description, this seems to be an excellent supplement for my lady beetles (they also need tiny dead soft bodied insects or eggs that they can eat & wont eat them) to eat along with a supplement. I was impressed that this item is organic, a power meal, & that the supplement contains proteins that is crucial for a lady beetles health. I was impressed that protein was listed at the top of the ingredients. I have 4 "very loved" lady beetles that I own. I always try to provide them the best but that can be challenging when resources for food are limited online for them. Protein especially being crucial for their health. They are not really viewed as "pets", however, with the right habitat & resources provided for their comfort & well being they make amazing, easy to care for little creatures. It is very interesting to observe them & their life. Lady beetles (related to ladybugs) have a longer lifespam then ladybugs. Believe it or not, they are also intelligent in their own way. Thank you again for providing a good supplement for them!

Definitely a power meal!

This attracts all kinds of beneficial insects and some pollinators! I placed this around my yard (following instructions) and saw what I believe were native bees, butterflies, ladybugs and other insects tasting it. I used it as a slurry on a sponge. It worked well.

I'm going to put this out soon, but it would be helpful to have some more instruction on how early in the spring this should be used and how much rain it will tolerate after applied.

Disappointed

I did 3 releases of lady bugs in my garden. Before each release I mixed the Good Bug Power Meal in my sprayer as directed. By the next day, all the ladybugs were gone. This happened 3 times. I was disappointed. I'm sorry I got the one lb. bag. I guess I'll try it again after the lacewings hatch. I wouldn't buy this again and cannot recommend it.

Beneficials ready to go

All my beneficials arrived in a timely manner, ladybugs and beetles seemed to be in good condition and ready to go to work. I would have preferred some detailed instructions on release on some items I was not familiar with. All in all, I would recommend Arbico products.
