Dipel DF is labeled for use in Crop Production and Dipel PRO DF is labeled for use in Turf & Ornamentals, but they both contain the same bacillus in the same amount.
Pesticide ID # required for California COMMERCIAL GROWERS.
DiPel DF is a dust-free dry flowable insecticide that kills caterpillars and borers using the bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis v. kurstaki or Btk. OMRI Listed, it is labelled to control most Lepidopteran (caterpillar) insects on fruits, citrus, tropical fruits, vegetables, grains, bulbs, flowers, herbs, turf, ornamental trees and shrubs. After ingesting a lethal dose, larvae stop feeding within the hour and will die within a few hours to 3 days. It is best used when the larvae are actively feeding but before the plants are heavily damaged.
Apply DiPel DF by ground or aerial equipment with sufficient water to provide thorough coverage of infested plants. Do not spray when wind speed favors drift beyond the area intended for use. There is a 4-hour restricted entry interval (REI) and 0-hour pre-harvest interval. Check individual state regulations regarding pre-harvest application intervals prior to applying.

Application Rate: Use ¼ -2 lbs. per acre depending on the pest being controlled and crop being sprayed. Follow product label instructions for crop and pest specific mix rates.
Larvae must eat deposits of DiPel DF to be affected. For best results, apply when larvae are in the first instar stages. Repeat applications every 3-14 days depending on plant growth rate, moth activity and rainfall after application. For best results, use at least 20 gallons of water per acre for ground applications. Use 3 gallons of water per acre for aerial applications, except in arid areas where 5-10 gallons should be used. Add a spreader-sticker approved for use on growing and harvested crops when using on hard-to-wet crops like cabbage or to improve spray efficacy in poor weather conditions.
