Bonide Captain Jack's Orchard Spray is a fungicide, pesticide, and miticide with the active ingredients of sulfur and pyrethrin. It controls pest insects, mites, and fungal diseases on citrus, fruit, and nut trees; but also works equally well on vegetables, vine plants, ornamentals, shrubs, houseplants, flowering plants, shrubs, and lawns. To fit your unique needs, choose between the concentrated and ready-to-use versions of this spray.
- Use as little as 2½ ounces per gallon when there are low levels of disease and the weather is dry.
- One pint makes up to 6.4 gallons of finished spray.
- Can be used up to the day before harvest (1-day PHI)

This Product Controls These Pests or Diseases: Use to control ants (excluding fire ants, harvester ants, Pharaoh's ants, and carpenter ants), aphids, apple maggot, armyworms, beetles, cabbageworms, caterpillars, earwigs, fruit flies, lacebugs, leafhoppers, leafrollers, leafminers, loopers, mealybugs, mites, moths, onion maggots, plant bugs, psyllids, roseslugs, scale, spider mites, spittlebugs, squash vine borer, thrips, weevils, and whiteflies. Will also control blackspot, blight, brown rot, leaf spots, powdery mildew, rust, and scab.
Use Instructions:
CONCENTRATE -
FOR CONTROL OF FUNGAL DISEASES:
- When high levels of disease are present, or during periods of wet weather, mix 5 fl. oz. of product with 1 gallon of water and shake well.
- When disease levels are low or in drier weather, mix 2½fl. oz. of product with 1 gallon of water and shake well.
- Thoroughly spray all areas of the plant, especially new shoots.
- For best control, apply as a protective spray early in the season before diseases are noticed.
- Re-spray every 7-10 days or after rain.
- May be used up to day before harvest.
FOR CONTROL OF INSECTS/MITES:
- Dilute product by mixing 5 fl. oz. with 1 gallon of water and shake well.
- Thoroughly spray all areas of the plant, especially new shoots and the underside of leaves.
- Pests need to be contacted by the spray to be controlled.
USE PRECAUTIONS:
- Some varieties of grapes and cucurbits are sensitive to sulfur and some plant damage may occur.
- Use care or do not spray on sulfur sensitive plants. If not sure, test spray a few leaves 2 days before spraying the entire plant.
USE RESTRICTIONS:
- Do not use if temperatures are expected to be over 90°F.
- Do not apply to strawberry fruit that will be used for canning.
- Do not spray plants with this product within 21 days of an oil spray.

READY TO SPRAY (RTS):
FOR CONTROL OF FUNGAL DISEASES:

TWIST & SHOOT™ READY TO SPRAY INSTRUCTIONS:
- Make sure control knob is in "OFF" position, then connect to garden hose.
- Turn water on at faucet. When spraying low-growing plants and small shrubs, twist the control knob right, to the "FAN" position. When spraying taller trees, shrubs and other plants, twist the control knob left to the "STREAM" position for extended reach and more uniform coverage. The product mixes automatically with the water as you spray.
- To stop spraying, turn the control knob lever to the "OFF" position. Turn off water at the faucet and disconnect sprayer from garden hose.

- Combustible. Do not use or store near heat or open flame.
- Store at room temperature and protect from freezing.
- Non refillable. Do not use or refill container.
- If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling, if available.
- If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
Warning & Toxicities: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum or using tobacco.
