BEST VALUE - Comprehensive Control for General Pest Infestations!

The Triple-Threat Combo includes each of three beneficial nematode species: Heterorhabditis bacteriaphora, Steinernema carpocapsae and Steinernema feltiae. Use this combination to achieve the broadest coverage of a wide variety of soil dwelling pest populations or if you are unsure of the specific pests you have.

Beneficial Nematodes are naturally occurring, microscopic organisms (non-segmented round worms) found in soils throughout the world. They parasitize and kill insect pests in their larval or pupal stage of development preventing egg laying and limiting crop damage. After application, nematodes locate pests and enter through body openings or directly through the body wall. Once inside, the nematodes produce bacteria that is injected into the pest's blood. This bacteria kills the host pest within 24-48 hours while the nematodes continue to reproduce within it.

As the food resources within their host become scarce, the nematodes emerge and begin searching for a new host. While each species attacks a wide variety of pests, they are species specific and safe to use around beneficial insects, mammals or aquatic life.

If you are a first time user of beneficial nematodes, please follow the illustrated application instructions for use with a hose end sprayer. If you have questions, please call us at 1-800-827-2847.

For most applications, beneficial nematodes should be mixed with water and sprayed directly into the soil. Hose-end sprayers and pump sprayers work best, but nematodes can also be applied with a watering can, through irrigation and fertigation systems, into certain hydroponics media, and by syringe injection.

What's The Application Rate?

The exact mix rate varies based on the type of sprayer used and the user's speed of movement through the area. The key is to spread the nematode solution as evenly as possible over the full area being treated. We recommend spraying down the area with just water using the sprayer for application to determine roughly how many tanks will be needed for full coverage.

When Should They Be Applied?

  • Apply when soil temperatures are above 42°F.
  • Apply early in the morning or predusk when temperatures are cooler and the sun is not so bright.

It is best to make at least two applications, separated by 7-10 days to stagger the life cycles of the nematodes and ensure complete coverage. In cases of severe infestations, applications should be made every 7-10 days or until infestation subsides.

Can I Keep Nematodes In Water Until I Apply Them?

Only mix up what you are going to apply at that time. While some nematodes are aquatic, insect-parasitic nematodes are not. Do not leave the nematode/water mixture sitting for more than 2 hours as death can occur. Please call us at 1-800-827-2847 if you have questions about using nematodes in hydroponic environments. For best results, always apply beneficial nematodes as soon as possible after mixing.

How Long Can Nematodes Be Kept Before Use?

Beneficial Nematodes should be used as soon as possible. Because they are living organisms it is best to store them unopened for no longer than 2 weeks in a refrigerator. DO NOT FREEZE. Once opened, use entire container within the same day.

Should The Soil Be Moist After The Nematode Application?

The soil should be moist at time of application and lightly watered immediately after application. After application, check the application area regularly and water as needed to maintain soil moisture. Generally speaking, water every 3-4 days if rainfall does not occur.

How Long Does It Take To See Results?

After application, the nematodes locate pests and enter the pests through body openings or through the body wall. This may take 7-10 days. Once inside, the nematodes inject bacteria that kill the pest insect within 48-72 hours by causing blood poisoning. Maximum control occurs over 2-4 weeks.

How Often Should Nematodes Be Applied?

Nematodes are recommended for use whenever larvae or grubs are present. Generally, this is during the spring and fall months. Because larvae feed on plant roots, beneath the soil surface, severe damage can be done before realizing there is a problem. Look for signs of an adult insect, such as leaf-notching. If adult insects are present, their eggs will be hatching soon. Keep in mind, one application may not eradicate a population of insects that has become established over a period of years.

Will Nematodes Live Through The Winter?

In general, harsh winter weather in most parts of the country guarantees a significant decline in the population of the nematodes. In most cases, nematodes (just like insects) will become dormant during cold weather. Any survivors would be few in number to provide adequate insect control. If your insect pest returns the following year, another application may be necessary.

When Nematodes Are Applied To One Area Will They Move To Other Areas?

Nematodes are microscopic in size and have limited range of horizontal movement. They move vertically into the soil until they find a pest to infect. As a result, thorough coverage of the area is important for achieving control.

I try to get some sort of organic pest control every year. Last year I did nothing. So I got on it this year. Ready for my raised garden beds, Treated Pine and cedar trees for bag worms, and lawn for army worms and grubs. Really like using this or lady bugs, praying mantis and others.

Fast shipping, easy instructions
Apr 18, 2022  |  By Wynter McGruder
I purchased this products in the hopes that I would be able to outwit the grubs feasting in my raised beds, pots, and lawn. I only applied it recently (about 2 days ago) so I'm not sure if it's had time to work but the shipping was fast, the product was well packaged. The instructions were easy to follow. I'm giving it 5 stars because so far it's been everything I asked for and I recognize that with a product like this, there may be varying degrees of success due to lots of factors. I'll provide a new update as necessary.
Owner Response: They begin working right away, but it can take up to 2 weeks to see visible evidence of control from Beneficial Nematodes. It's recommended to apply them at least twice per year (spring and fall) to control any newly laid eggs, more if infestation continues.

No more fleas
Apr 7, 2022  |  By Wendy R.
We apply beneficial nematodes to our yard every year. Our dogs no longer have to take poison pills to control fleas & ticks, even here in southeast Texas...much to our vet's chagrin! What a fabulous "green" solution--for the dogs AND for the yard!

The benefits of nematodes
Mar 28, 2022  |  By Anonymous
I have 40 years of professional experience as a landscaper with a science degree and I have managed many many pests in the Pacific Northwest such as cranefly, root weevils, soil gnats and fleas and ticks in larger scale gardens, farms and landscapes. They work if combined with early detection as a form of prevention renewed every other year in managed landscapes eliminating the use of several harmful chemical treatments in food, pet and play areas.
Owner Response: Great comment! The timing of Beneficial Nematodes and reapplication (depending on pest and infestation) is very important to their success!

Nematodes

Your products have been recommended by our gardener. We are very impressed. We will definitely be using several other products in the future.

Questionable and somewhat expensive for that level of efficacy.
May 25, 2021  |  By Flora Martinez
I ordered the nematodes primarily to get rid of fungus gnats in my potted plants. After several applications (making sure to use them when it is both cool and dark, not leaving them in water for more than 30 minutes max) over a two week period (that seems to be the longest the nematodes will survive in the refrigerator) I still have gnats. I will wait another week and hope that between the nematodes and intermittent dry soil spells that the pests will be gone, but I am not optimistic at this time.

Don't garden without them

Always very happy with the lack of pests in my garden when I use these! I have never had random soil borne pest issues when using these

Love this

I've been using nematodes on our yard for several years now and have used three different companies. I believe this Triple Threat by Arbico is by far the best! So complete in what it takes care of and that's makes me happy!

Seems to have done the job

I've done these treat mens last year too and they do what they're supposed ... I'm just about to do follow up treatment just to make sure...

Will buy again
Jul 26, 2020  |  By Susan
My plants seem to be doing better. I definitely see the dead adult Japanese beetles around. I'm not positive about the grubs but my plants are doing well. It was pretty pricey and as there are other options that are less expensive that I haven't tried yet, I can't say whether it's worth it. I'm giving it four stars mainly because there isn't very much product for the high price. Application was simple enough and packaging was acceptable as well.

Triple treatment greatly reduced pests
Jul 20, 2020  |  By Wendy Carter
The products arrived promptly, and were easy to apply. We saw a huge reduction in the appearance of the three pests that we have dealt with in past years. We will definitely use these again, and can highly recommend them.

Worked great, but doesn't discriminate between good insects and bad. I used 2 applications a month a part.

Nicely Packaged But Ineffective
Jul 11, 2020  |  By Rick
I applied beneficial nematodes to my Idaho lawn in early May. I did a follow-up application in early June with the Triple Threat Beneficial Nematodes from Arbico Organics to battle an ongoing infestation of sod webworms. The product was shipped promptly with an ice pack, packaged well, and seemed to be of good quality. I applied them according to the instructions in the evening and watered them in that night as I had the month before. It is now early July. My lawn has transformed from beautiful thick green grass to the familiar large patches of yellow that has become an annual disappointment. The roots of my lawn are being eaten away by sod webworms, and this year is the worst by far. Sadly, my applications of beneficial nematodes did nothing to decrease the problem.

Delivery time was amazing, not sure the nematodes did any good though.
Jul 7, 2020  |  By Curtis
We ordered the nematodes and they were delivered the next day in a cooler that was enclosed in a box so I know the nematodes were kept cool the entire time. i then put them in the fridge to ensure they were kept that way. I put them in our infested area a few days later. I made sure to water them lightly after application and it rained every few days following application. Unfortunately, we still have a bad infestation of a gnat like bug. I was hoping this would take care of them or at least significantly limit their reproducing but no such luck.

Works on high Tick area more States should use this !!!
Jul 1, 2020  |  By Dina Wolyniec
I live in Suffolk County NY we have a very high tick area. My neighbors and my pets have been effected by different tick illness not just Lymes. I have horses and show Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs so I already use Fly Predators on my property so I picked up your catalog and search for what you recommended and found Nematodes. We had already used chemical Spraying in the past and we still had bad ticks so I was not sure how well this would work. I was amazed at how reduced my tick load has been this spring and summer ! Along with other pest in my yard. Why more states with bad Ticks are not recommending Nematodes is beyond me . I went from horrible to mild which is amazing for where I live. I literately live in the woods by the way on almost 2 acres. So we have lots of wild life go threw the yard at times . Yes, like Fly predators it takes time to work and you have some up keep but this so far has been far superior to anything we have used in threw years. I used it for the first time last year

Easy, safe and comprehensive treatment for pests. Planning a secondary application this fall to follow up as a maintenance treatment. Highly recommend as an effective organic treatment in the lawn and garden.

Healthy Soil
Jun 23, 2020  |  By Stacy
When we lived in Texas, we used beneficial nematodes on our lawn. Our lawn and house foundation was tick free, termite free, and grub free. In Virginia, we could not find a local supplier so we ordered the beneficial nematodes from Arbico. We applied after a rain then reapplied two weeks later after another rain. When I was weeding our lawn and gardens, there were no grubs. Last year we had lots of grubs. This is testimony to the efficacy of beneficial nematodes. We will be continuing to use Arbico beneficial nematodes.

results are great
Jun 23, 2020  |  By Sally Vissman
When I first bought my house, every shovel I lifted had a grub in it. This year I have seen a total of about 5 and I do lots of gardening. This year I purchased the 3 pack for fleas mostly. I have not been bitten once and my yard is not covered in chemicals. I really like the fact that the products target harmful insects and leaves the rest alone. The results definitely justify the price.

Triple threat beneficial nematodes
May 30, 2020  |  By Debbie Cherok
We had a major problem with ticks and ants. I applied as directed on our about 3/4 of an acre fenced area of property along with right outside the fence. The ticks were bad but it has been over 3 weeks and I have yet to get one on me or our dogs. The ants are not so much near the house but are still present some in the yard so I might have to reapply but only if they move to the house. This was a better alternative than chemicals that can cause problems for our grandkids and dogs. I would definitely do it again.

Very Satisfied
May 27, 2020  |  By Princess
Very effective on grubs, like less than a day after application. Not sure how the effect with ants are, may take a bit longer. Appears to help with those pesky little gnats & no-see-ums

Beneficial Nematodes - Application
May 26, 2020  |  By Thomas Clippard
My review is not on the product quality (that is still unknown). I am reviewing the application instructions. A hose end sprayer is recommended, so I purchased one. They recommend removing any filters on the sprayer, which I did. I also mixed the nematodes very thoroughly and I couldn't get the hose end sprayer to work - it clogged continually. So I ended up using a watering can which also plugged but was easier to clear out. I hope these work as the application process was laborious. I am withholding my product quality rating until I see how they work.

Worked To Eliminate Fleas
May 22, 2020  |  By TallGurl
I purchased the triple threat to battle a flea infestation among our three outside dogs. I bathed and changed their bedding the day I applied the product to the yard, and bathed and changed bedding again one week later. It was a struggle to appropriately apply the product as my garden sprayer that attached to my hose had a hard time clogging at the stem from the product failing to dissolve completely despite A LOT of mixing on my part. The sprayer would not disperse the product in a timely manner no matter what setting I tried. After and hour of walking my yard with the sprayer I managed to spread 3/4 of the product and sprinkled the rest directly from the sprayer reservoir. I ordered twice the product called for in case something went wrong like this. I applied all of it to make sure it worked. About a week and a half later we appeared to be 90% flea-free, and within 2 weeks my dogs weren't scratching or biting themselves at all. I normally treat my yard twice each summer for fleas. I ran out of my second product as I alternate them and I believe the fleas developed an immunity to the first product. I will order this product next year if it continues working and see if this may be all I need from now on.

Happy with service
May 16, 2020  |  By Monte & Elizabeth Larsen
Received nematodes quickly, instructions are clear. I won't know how effective they are until later in the growing season. I would like to apply them earlier in the spring but could find no information as to minimum temperature tolerance, other than winter kills most of the nematodes.

Works well
May 12, 2020  |  By Harry Vaillancourt
I applied nematodes in the rain, and the weather stayed cloudy for a few days. I have noticed the lawn recovers, and a reduction in crawling bugs around the house. I look forward to seeing the results when the weather breaks. Snowed on 5/10.

Big Change in Pests
May 1, 2020  |  By Robert F Klaus
We live on a 10 acres in the Virginia piedmont, the back half of which is a wooded stream valley that is wild for miles above and below our property. The wildlife re-infest the property annually, but we have had excellent success with this product, most visibly against ticks. Before nematodes, any afternoon on the property would find half a dozen ticks (dog and deer ticks) on a walker, and it was a daily chore to check over the horses, dogs and cats. Now we may get that per year. We spray the inhabited part of the property with a towed sprayer behind a lawn tractor, and have had the best luck dividing our order into two applications about a week apart in the early spring. Timing with the weather is critical; ideally applying just as a gentle rain will wash them into the soil. Most of the other insect pests are masked by deer predation in the gardens, but we are confident we are helping with them also.

Very pleased
Apr 25, 2020  |  By glenda woods
This is clean, easy to use, and does the trick. I've been using nematodes for years to battle grubs on our property. I especially like the "Triple Threat" that I found here. I used this maybe a month ago and have spent the past week putting the garden in. Six months ago I could put a shovel into the ground and pull out at least 2 with each pile of dirt. I've yet to find one in all the digging I've done this week. The other pests this works on is an added bonus. I am very pleased.

Triple Threat!
Apr 20, 2020  |  By Barry Brossa
It's early yet, to make a call regarding efficacy but it shipped well and arrived promptly and in good condition. The weather was perfect for nematode dispersal and I have in fact had, by my estimation, fewer pests in the areas of my property where I applied these. Maybe I didn't see the instructions or maybe there weren't any instructions on how much water to mix with each package to insure against sprayer uptake screen clogging. I like this fine white clay like material. I think it's much better than the type that you have to soak in water and pour through a painters funnel filter.

Wonderful products

We have animals and plants. We use the Triple Threat and it works really well. This is for first year in what seems like years that we had Japanese Beetles. This is the only product we use and are very pleased with the results. I love the fact that it is organic and we don't have to worry about our pets being harmed.

Sprayed them around my yard - haven't seen any changes. Not sure if they are not able to get into the soil through mulch layer or they came DOA
Owner Response: Hello Vlad, It may take a while to see noticeable changes in the pest population, but you can always call us at 1-800-827-2847 if you think there might be viability issues! Thank you for the feedback.

We have used beneficial nematodes on our lawn for 3 years in the spring and late summer. They have kept the flies flees and ticks away the grubs and other harmful insects. This summer we had an unusual amount of rain and grubs came back earlier along with moles. So I ordered the nematodes about a month earlier this year and the moles are gone.

Nematodes do the Trick
Jun 2, 2019  |  By Bill
I use these little varmints every 1.5 to 2 years around my yard.I get the triple threat combo and spray them with a pump sprayer. They get the fleas and ticks which are my main worry. And they get a whole lot of other bugs too. We used to have flies coming in the house all summer...not anymore...there might be one or two that find us but not as many as there used to be. I wish they would last longer but I guess once they eat most of the bugs they tend to die out. Then more bugs come and it is time to apply them again. I do not want to poison my own well with pesticides or other nasty chemicals. These nematodes are great.

The nematodes work great, but when I asked customer service a question a few months back I never got a response, so I had to wing it and eventually I asked the dirt dr which was great but customer service could've and should've responded with an answer to a rather easy question
Owner Response: Hello Erich, Sorry for not getting back to you, although I hope you got the answer. We will look into what happened and work to continue improving our responsiveness. Thank you for the feedback.

Wipeout!
Mar 23, 2019  |  By Nick Jones
I waited until this Spring to write my review. Last Fall, I treated my garden with the Triple Threat Beneficial Nematodes to, hopefully, reduce mainly, grubs, root knot nematodes, vine borers and damping off. The other insects and fungi that would be annihilated was going to simply be collateral damage. When I tilled my garden yesterday, I saw no grubs. I usually see dozens of the white grubs when I till in the spring. I till very deep, and this past Winter I had planted cover crops, so wanted to till really deeply to get all the roots and undercut that good "green manure." Not a grub in sight and the moles have left my little patch of peace-n-quiet alone this winter. I am going to re-treat again prior to planting, and hope to see amazing results when combined with my traditional "green" above-ground insect and fungal control methods. Thanks Arbico for making gardening "fun" again.

Awesome ant killer
Sep 29, 2018  |  By Erin Catu
I currently live in Texas but used nematodes faithfully twice a year in my small suburban backyard in AZ. My neighbor wasn't home much at the time so the fire ants took over her yard. Then they went over and under the concrete wall separating our yards into my soil. I applied nematodes for about 5 years and mulched regularly. If they made it over to my side, they never made it back after year two because of the nematodes. Better to apply too much than too little since they are microscopic and definitely before the heat and monsoon season. Fall seemed to be the best time of year for them. I also started nematode application in TX. Looking forward to digging in completely ant-free soil again!

Great resource
Jul 28, 2018  |  By margaret byrd
The first time I used them was for termites in a tree near the house. Bingo eliminated them entirely. I knew I was on to something big so I treated around trees, around my fruit trees and around my bee hives for small hive beetles. I will reapply every spring from now on. 0 peach tree borers, 0 termites and 0 small hive beetles. Now it is going to go into my raised beds to attack the bugs that are sucking the life out of my squash. It's a hugely successful organic solution here and I'm all about organic food for my family

Great product

Nematodes
Jul 22, 2018  |  By Irone Campbell
It really works. This is my second year using Nematodes. My yard is nearly pest free. I am amazed by the results. I recommend the Nematodes. Everyone should apply Nematodes to their yards.

Excellent service and product

Shipments arrive promptly and in good condition for use. We have used 3 applications on 4 acres over the past several months, with noticeable declines in pest such as ticks and gnats.

Triple Threat? Really?
Jul 16, 2018  |  By Karen Gonzalez
Tan asiactic garden beetle decimating my shrubs and new tree...I'd give it no stars if I could
Owner Response: Hello Karen, If you were seeing adult beetles at the time of application it was too late to control them, but the nematodes will begin to kill the immature grubs in the soil. This will reduce future adult hatching through the season and reduce overwintering populations of eggs and grubs in the soil. If you have questions about timing the application of controls, how the nematodes work or pest identification, please call us at 1-800-827-2847.

Sadly, completely useless
Jul 15, 2018  |  By Doreen Bell
We had such high hopes for this process. I found many cheaper alternatives, but read the reviews and thought if we were going to try it, we'd give it our all. We followed the directions precisely and applied two treatments 10 days apart as directed. While the pest infestation is no worse, it's certainly not any better. I would say the nematodes had zero impact. Very disappointed.
Owner Response: Hello Doreen, Generally speaking, you will begin to see a reduction in the pest population a minimum of two weeks after application. The nematodes take up to two days to kill an infected pest and they need time to continue to move through the pest population in order to show visible results to the user. There are also specific times of the year that are best for applying nematodes that may impact their efficacy if you are treating for certain pests. If you have questions, we encourage our customers to call us at 1-800-827-2847. We are happy to talk with you about what to expect, tips and tricks for applying, and give additional information about treating the pests you are attacking!

Great so far
Jul 13, 2018  |  By Judith Rhodes
I bought this to address issues with ticks, grubs and recently a serious problem with fleas and gnats. We mixed this in our broadcast spreader with water and got to work. We applied it in the early evening at about 7pm. It took awhile to get it mixed per the instructions. Then we spread it. It clogged the spreader frequently but we cleared and proceeded. We got done in about an hour. That day was one of the worst for fleas and gnats. So bad you couldn't stand outside. The next day we got up and checked at 9:45am. No fleas, no gnats. Hmmmm. Checked again in the evening-no fleas, no gnats. Checked again this AM-no fleas, no gnats. Is it supposed to be that fast?!?!? This is amazingly effective. There has not been a single hatch and that is just after 24+ hours. We're stunned. This stuff really works. It's not hard to mix, it can be a little clumpy but keep mixing. We're having great results. Very impressed. Glad I purchased. Expensive but worth it....
Owner Response: They do not work that fast, but they should be giving you continued relief now!

Be aware for squash vine borers
Jun 19, 2018  |  By Mandy
Be aware this products does not prevent against squash vine borers. You actually need multiple products. Wiped out 3 squash beds. Waste of money.
Owner Response: Hello Mandy, I am sorry to hear about the squash beds. The nematodes will help reduce the overwintering pupae in the soil, but cannot be relied upon to eliminate them. Unfortunately, there is no sure-fire organic control for squash vine borers. An integrated approach to controlling them entails trapping adults, applying nematodes to the soil and regularly applying Btk or spinosad to the foliage as adults and larvae are active.

Awesome product!

We've been using this Triple Threat pack for our urban patio garden for years. We had a horrible case of termites eating all of our plants and other pests just decimating our hard work. It got so bad that scooping a handful of soil up in your hand would show hundreds of wiggling termites! We sprayed the triple threat combo on our garden in two batches, one week apart. One week after the last batch, we did the hand scoop test and there were NO termites at all. It was that fast! I also use it in my indoor plants to help control fungus gnats. This stuff is amazing! Highly recommend.

Great stuff!

No sign of flea beetles on the plants or termites in the wooden raised beds.

Nematodes
May 24, 2018  |  By Blane
Before using Nematodes I had one large bush in my yard, always the first to bloom in the spring that would look golden in early summer because of the amount of beetles infesting it. These beetles were infesting a number of other plants as well. I have been using triple threat for many years now and there are virtually no beetles left. In addition the Nematodes cut down the ant and termite colonies around the property and reduce the risk that they will attack my home. I love them little Nematodes they are awesome!

application
May 23, 2018  |  By Kathi O'Malley
I have not found an effective way to apply. Every single time I have applied it clogs up the hose sprayer, and I have tried several different brands of hose sprayers. I totally wasted my money this time.
Owner Response: I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the application. Generally, if you remove the filter on the sprayers clogging does not occur. We encourage our customers to call us when they have application, usage, or viability questions. I am seeing that you received the same Triple Threat package last year, but I am not seeing any notes regarding application issues. If you would like to discuss best practices for applying the nematodes, please contact us at 1-800-827-2847.

Worth every penny!
May 22, 2018  |  By Marshall Fischer
This is actually a tremendously great deal, three species for around $60 is unbeatable. I haven't found anywhere else to get three different species separately packaged. I looked at them under my compound microscope, and they were VERY healthy! I was so pleased with the quality I purchased 2000 predatory mites today from Arbico.

Beneficials

Used Beneficial Nematodes for the first time last year, amazed that we didn't have any fleas or ticks in my yard and on my dogs. Best safe method as flea control for sensitive dogs

Triple Threat Beneficial Nematodes
May 12, 2018  |  By Becki Gunderson
We tried these last year and we were shocked how well they work. This product works better than the chemicals that we used to put on our yard and we are telling everyone how great it works. We love that it is natural.
Owner Response: Thank you for the feedback and spreading the word!

As advertised

Excellent organic solution
Apr 25, 2018  |  By Tim & Pam Vicari
We have put nematodes on our lawn for the past 3 years. Our puppy last year had one tick from chewing on a neighbor's pinecone!! We do not put any chemical on our lawn or our dogs. They have never had fleas and our garden is free of insects.

Red Worms and nematodes
Apr 16, 2018  |  By Marita McClymonds
I am over joyed to have a source of these garden wonders. Hope I don't kill them.
Owner Response: Hi Marita! You don't need to worry about the nematodes going after the earthworms. They do not parasitize earthworms and will leave other beneficial insects alone for the most part.

Great product

Safe for my show dogs. Have been using for several years and recommend to my clients.

Best option for natural pest control
Mar 31, 2018  |  By Deserie Templeton
I have used these triple threat nematodes for the past 3 or 4 years and only wish I had found out about them earlier. We used to have issues with fleas, ants and other pests but since beginning to use these we have had no issues. With 2 dogs and not using any topical flea prevention that says a lot.

Great Product
Mar 30, 2018  |  By margaret byrd
I used this product to stop an active termite threat on a tree near my house. One treatment and I never saw a hatch from that site again. It's like magic. Now that I know it kills ant larvae I'm going to treat ant hills this next year. Fire ants are everywhere

Skunk Problem

Excellent. The triple attack eliminated the grubs, etc. No more Skunk.

So far so good!
Mar 22, 2018  |  By Sandra
I've been using nematodes on my yard for probably 3 or 4 years now, applied once in the spring, as a way to keep fleas off my dogs without chemicals. It is one prong of a multi-prong approach, but I seem to have good luck with it. My dogs have not had to wear a flea collar or have any kind of flea treatment whatsoever in probably 6 months.

nematodes

We order the triple threat nematodes yearly for our very large garden and fruit trees. The one year we did not put the beneficial nematodes out we had a horribel harvest and every single plant had root knot nematode damage. We were sold on these helpful critters at that moment. We couldnt grow here in FL without them.

Great little things!
May 27, 2017  |  By Janie
I applied, and split a large order with my neighbors almost 5 years ago. At the time, we were taking our pets to the vet almost weekly for meds to control fleas. This will make the 5th summer and all of us are still flea free, so these little guys must have established themselves very well. I'm splitting another large order this summer because it has been so long and I want to make sure the fleas don't return, but also to fight other garden pests at the same time. We seem to have avoided harsh winters, so we're past due for a really cold one, and I want to try to prevent a total loss of this winter becomes normal or even harsh. I can't imagine where i'd be if I hadn't discovered these great little things years ago.

Nematodes are amazing...
May 24, 2015  |  By Mike
Wow. We had a huge flea infestation. I couldn't walk outside for 30 seconds without having them all over me. We got the triple threat because we were planting a garden and figured we would cover all bases. After a couple of days the flea population began going down and after about a week, I could walk outside and maybe find one or two on me. As of now, about two weeks later, I garden in shorts and a t- shirt again! No chemicals, very easy to distribute, and effective! :)

These work!
May 23, 2015  |  By Becky
My dog had hurt his foot so he was confined to our yard for a few weeks. In one week we pulled 18 ticks off of him plus we found 4 in our house! Four days after applying the nematodes he had one tick. It's been over a month and he's been tick free!! I tell everyone to treat their yard with these guys!

Surprising success
May 23, 2015  |  By Clara
We live in South Florida and do constant battle with the creepy crawly critters here. We applied this in the winter before putting down new sod in our backyard. Our old sod was always under attack from cinch bugs. I applied it just before a rainstorm, and the soil was damp for a few days after that due to some unseasonable rain. A few days later I did milky spore powder as well. Well, we have not had a single area turn brown due to cinch bugs since then, and our organic program in the backyard is working wonders for a green lawn. I have also noticed fewer garden pests, especially leafminers. Really pleased with the results. Still have plenty of dragonflies and butterflies too, which all started appearing since we went organic.

Can't imagine life without it
May 12, 2015  |  By Kat
This will be the third summer we have hosted nematodes that feast on fleas - and the third summer we and our cats can enjoy our back yard. Last year, we applied them early and heavily (twice), which made them even more effective. You just have to remember to not let the soil dry out. I tell everyone I know who has pets about Arbico's hardworking little warriors. We cannot imagine life without them now that we know how easy it is to get rid of the evil bloodsucking fleas (and some other bugs we'd rather not have).

Wonderful blessing!
Apr 4, 2015  |  By Marg
Last year we were desperate to curb our 2nd year of a terrible flea and tick infestation in the yard. My 80 year old mother could not enjoy the outdoors at all due to these pests, and she was treated for excessive bites and Lyme disease. It was horrible and the fleas began to come into the house via ductwork and the subfloor of our century old home. There were no cats or dogs as pets, but the local deer ppopulation was exploding into our yard. The triple pack small farm was applied in two split applications as directed. The flea and tick infestation lessened within a week, then completely disappeared. Gone. No more hundreds of fleas on shoes , socks and legs outdoors. No more fleas being carried or creeping into house, and no more calendar entries tracking deer tick bites. We got our fresh air and outdoor life back! Thank you, Arbico, for your products, your assistive instructions, and the support and counsel you provided. We are ordering the triple pack again in 2015 as soon as temperatures allow because the deer have returned but we plan to enjoy our yard, and our health!

Wouldn't have believed how well they work!
Oct 14, 2014  |  By Blake
2 years ago we became over ran with fleas. It was bad enough that walking through our yard, you would have 8 to 10 fleas on your legs. I've never seen it that bad. Poor dogs were going nuts. I tried some mean pesticides and they only curbed the problem. (and gave me head aches) I read about Nematodes and skeptically figured I'd try them. It was like some crazy TV commercial... In less than 2 weeks they were gone!! Couldn't believe it! Truly work as good as promised.

Customer Service
Sep 8, 2014  |  By Matthew
So I purchased the combo pack this year and applied at my regular time and this year has been a heavy pest year for me. I called to see if there was something I did wrong or if it was a bad batch. I spoke to Terri and Marci and they told me some years the pests just swing harder or there was not enough pests to sustain the populations of beneficial Nematodes in the beginning and sent me another combo pack all I needed to pay was shipping. I will definitely comeback next year with that kind of service.
Owner Response: Thank you for the kind words Matthew!
