NemAttack Beneficial Nematodes, Steinernema riobrave, are naturally occurring, soil dwelling ambush predators that control a wide range of turf and citrus pests including armyworms, black cutworms, citrus weevils and Japanese Beetle grubs. They are also significantly more effective for treatment of subterranean termites than some of their counterparts. Similar to other nematode species, S. riobrave release a bacteria once they have infected the pest. This bacteria slows feeding and kills the pest within 24-48 hours of infection. The beneficial nematodes will continue to reproduce inside their host after death and emerge ready to infect other hosts. S. riobrave is safe for use around consumable crops, pets, livestock and in indoor growing.

Shelf Life: Use as soon as possible. If you cannot apply the day of receipt, refreeze the ice pack included and store in the shipment container. Do not refrigerate.

Hive Bettles

We have a significant hive beetle problem in my area. Keeping the beetle population under control is a challenge. Every one of my hives has a west beetle trap which kills 95% of the adults that find their way into the hive. The nematotes in the ground around the hive help further keep the adult population under control. I am not sure if Nematodes would be able to do the job all by themselves, but in combination with the west trap, its awesome. Note: I find that it's important to keep the ground around the hive wet. I have a water hose next to the hive that is on only enough to produce a small drip. I use this as the water source for the bees. The hose seems to also produce enough water for the ground to always be a little moist, but not soggy which is the ideal environment for the Nematodes.

Arbico provides quality, timely products that have increased the health of my garden through beneficial insects and nematodes. This year we had curculios that caused all of our small plum crop to drop, along with some of the apples. After researching beneficial insects, I ordered this type of nematode and applied it under the fruit trees. Since curculios can produce more than one generation per season, I hope this application will deter the next hatching phase this year, along with future crops. We have also applied this nematode along with the triple pack to our garden, and have a noticeable decrease in some insect pests. For those that want to limit or eliminate the use of chemicals in their gardens, I would highly recommend Arbico's products.

wasn't sure what to think about using beneficial insects, within a few days there was a noticeable difference. also, we had a problem w/ shipping & Arbico sent out another batch immediately, was able get these guys into our garden in short order... All Good Here!

We were delighted to receive the nematodes for our new vegetable garden. The directions for application are clear. We used a hose-end sprayer and had enough left over to treat the soil just outside the garden, too. Superb customer service from Arbico, especially appreciated since the volume must be higher now.

Nematodes new suspension method

I liked the powder shipping method better. I put it in my hose end sprayer, which worked great, because the power from the hose helped the application, I think.. That method was not recommended for this year's batch in the gel suspension. So, I'm not sure how well it works just pouring it on the lawn.

I had subterranean termites. I bought a 15 mil package from another company, followed exact the instruction but nothing happened. Then I tried the 5 mil package from Arbico. Checked back in a week, all termites were gone! If I tried Arbico first, I should save some money...
