This non-toxic, pheromone-based liquid attractant can greatly improve pollination of your crops by increasing the number of honeybees that visit. Blooms treated with these pheromones will entice bees to linger and forage on them. This swell in bee activity will cause a direct boost in pollen transfer and lead to enhanced pollination of what you grow. More thorough pollination will ultimately lead to strong, high quality plants that produce higher yields.
- Bee-Scent is an excellent solution for crops whose pollination window was shortened by weather or other conditions. Application will lure them back to do their foraging job.
- Bees will condition themselves to a foraging pattern. Once the initial application has been made, they will know to return to the area.
- Bee-Scent contains no hive or bee products and is environmentally sound for bees, crops and applicators.
Please see Bee-Scent Bulletins under the DOCS tabs for specifics on applications to Almonds, Apples, Avocados, Melons and Cucumbers and Pears, Plums and Cherries.

Suggested Uses:
Use to attract honey bees for improved crop pollination.
Standard Application Rate: 2 quarts per acre in sufficient water to cover the spray area.
Crop Type/Location | Ground Application | Aerial Application |
Orchard | 50-100 gals./acre | 8-15 gals.acre |
Vines | 15-40 gals./acre | 8-15 gals.acre |
Row Crops | 50-200 gals./acre | 8-15 gals.acre |
Two applications are recommended. Apply first treatment at early bloom (5-30% bloom) and second 5-8 days later (70-100% bloom). On long-blooming crops, treatments at regular intervals throughout the flowering season may be necessary for best results. Early morning application is important. Weather must be favorable to bee flight - sunny and warmer than 60°F, with winds less than 15 mph.
Either ground or aerial application units can be used to apply. No additives or equipment modifications are needed. Clean application is essential to avoid interfering with Bee-Scent's pheromone signal. Protect hives from overspray.
CAUTION - Do not mix with insecticides harmful to bees. Additionally, growers must pay special attention to the residual action of insecticides used just before or while conducting a Bee-Scent bee attraction program.
