Azatin O is a broad-spectrum Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) botanical insecticide. This biopesticide is a 4.5% formulation of Azadirachtin, which comes from the seeds of the Neem tree. This percentage means that you will get 175 grams of the active ingredient of Azadirachtin per gallon.
Once a targeted insect larvae or nymph comes into contact with or ingests Azatin O, it interferes with its ability to molt. This prevents the insect from progressing through life cycle to the next. This product only directly kills the immature stages (larvae or nymphs), but treated larvae may die as pupae.
Additionally, it repels and deters feeding in all the life stages of targeted insects. Azatin O is deadly to many sucking and chewing insects, but it has minimal impact on beneficial insects and poses no hazard to mammals and birds.
Benefits of Azatin O:
- For use in organic (OMRI listed) and traditional growing.
- Broad spectrum control for many of the most common insect pests.
- Works well in a traditional or organic/biocontrol-beneficial compatible program.

APPLICATION TIPS:
- This product only kills the larval stages of insects. Tank mix with an adulticide to kill both larvae and adults.
- For maximum effectiveness, spray directly at insects.
- Apply in early to mid-morning or late afternoon. This is especially important with whitefly adults which are typically sedentary on the undersides of leaves at this time of day.
- Apply a minimum of two times, with applications 5-7 days apart.
- Keep Azatin O in a diluted solution at pH between 3-7 and apply soon after preparation.
- For best results, use a spreader sticker at the suggested labeled rates.
APPLICATION RATES:Apply to moderately moist soils using volumes that thoroughly wet the soil but do not cause significant runoff or drip from pots.
Foliar Spray - Spray Azatin O on a preventative 7-day schedule or at the first sign of insect presence. Foliar spray rates range from 4 to 16 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water, depending on target insect.
Drench - Use Azatin O at the rate of 8 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water. Apply Azatin O in sufficient water and for sufficient duration to distribute evenly to entire treated area.
Chemigation - Azatin O may be applied through drip (trickle), sprinkler, flood (basin), furrow, or border irrigation systems.
