Install batteries first. Slide off battery cover and insert two AA batteries. Once in place, re-install the battery cover.
Operating the microscope -
- Place the sample on a bright level surface, such as a clean piece of paper.
- The transparent cover should surround the pest or vegetation sample to be in proper range of the ocular for viewing.
- Gently separate the battery compartment from the ocular to initiate the LED light source.
- Observe the test subject from the ocular and adjust the focusing ring to enhance the viewing clarity.
