These revolutionary carbon dioxide production systems are designed to be maintenance-free. Simply place the bags slightly above the plants in your grow room to allow carbon dioxide to precipitate down onto the cultivated plants. ExHale CO2Bags utilize natural processes of beneficial fungal mycelia to cultivate carbon dioxide for up to 6 months! Increase CO2 levels to stimulate photosynthesis and increase vegetative growth and crop yields.

Plants growing under artificial light indoors often lack enough carbon dioxide to efficiently photosynthesize. Maximizing the process of photosynthesis is imperative for indoor growers and results in larger plants with greater yields. Use in vegetative and flowering stages for increased canopy size, faster growth and prolonged production during budding. Increasing CO2 levels can also help plants tolerate higher temperatures in grow rooms using bright lighting.

ExHaleCO2 Bags produce carbon dioxide 24 hours a day with no need to refill bottles or install carbon dioxide production units that tend to be expensive and maintenance heavy.   • ExHale Micro – Use in clone domes and seed trays to stimulate root development in starter plants.
  • ExHale Original – Designed for small to medium sized grow spaces.
  • ExHale XL – Designed for use in medium to large growing areas.
  • ExHale 365 – Designed for use in areas that need prolonged CO2 production. Once activated, it provides CO2 for 9 months.

Exhale Micro

  • The Exhale micro does not come with a hanger.
  • Place Exhale micro in the center of your cutting or seedling tray and cover with clear dome.

Exhale Original & XL

  • The Exhale Original and XL Exhale are pre-inoculated.
  • These models are delivered with the hanger below the filter to block the flow of CO2.
  • When ready to use, remove the hanger to allow CO2 to flow. Reattach hanger ABOVE filter.
  • Hang or place in your tent or grow space immediately.

Exhale 365

  • The Exhale 365 requires inoculation before use.
  • Remove the Separation Seem/Hanger and allow the spawn material to fall to the substrate. (You may have to gently guide the spawn)
  • Reattach the Separation Seem/Hanger ABOVE the filter.
  • Place or hang in greenhouse or grow space.
  • The Exhale 365 takes about 3 weeks from inoculation until peak flow of CO2.

General Information

  • Place ExHale slightly above the height of the plants in your grow space. CO2 being heavier than oxygen will precipitate downward towards your plants.
  • You will notice a change in the appearance of the mycelial mass. Overtime it will take on a whitish look, which is normal. CO2 will continue to be produced for up to 6 months.
  • The bag may inflate in certain conditions; however, this is not an indication of performance. If the mycelium is growing, then the CO2 is flowing.
  • Exhale CO2 Bags can be added to compost piles/bins after use. Simply remove the contents of the bags and mix into compost. The bag can be recycled through your local plastic recycler.

Replacement Date - Per the manufacturer:
The replacement date code is not necessarily set in stone, the bags keep producing for about 2-3 months after the replacement date and then they begin to decline. Even after a year or so, there will be still be some detectable CO2.

If you're short on space, or don't feel able to shell out for pressurized CO2 (me), this will give you the boost you're looking for for your next two or three grow cycles. My only complaint about this product is when I went to compost it and use said compost, there's a possibility it gave my soil a really intense root fungus that kills off all my aliums.

Maybe I was unlucky and received a bad bag, but thee bag came all white and hard as a rock. It has been hanging for 3 weeks and see almost no change in the co2. Product might work but maybe I just got a bad bag.

I had a rhododendren that looked like it went through the apocalypse. I gave it 12oz of recharge and 3 days later it had 4 more branches and grew over 3 inches. 2 weeks later the thing bloomed and o gave it to my mother for easter. I plan on using this stuff on my garden this summer and I'm excited to see the results

oops, ordered the wrong size, meant to get the regular. But these little bags seem to be puffing out the CO2! Really like this natural, effective product. I've only had these hanging for a few days, but my plants do look perky and happy. I think it's working already. I really like this low plastic, natural product that can be composted after use. Fugus is so amazing to me, these bags are so interesting! Though they were a bit pricey, it's worth a lot to me to see the bags function- like a science experiment! Glad the containers are clear plastic, so I can see what's going on in there. If they really boost plant production, this will be a great buy- will re-review in a couple months. They were so easy to hang in my grow room, right over the plants.

Ordered a bag of ExHale from Arbico and another from un-named "A" online retailer. Not only did the Arbico order arrive early (in spite of their own warnings of Covid delayed mail deliveries), the ExHale we received from Arbico looked better all around; from packaging to product. Know where we'll be getting our garden supplies from going forward. The ExHale it self delivers as promised, noticed a difference in plant growth and (to quote the 1920's), "vitality" in no time. Strongly recommended for any indoor garden.

I ordered the bug bag, I did receive the regular one, sent a simple email asking if I ordered the wrong one by mistake. The manager responded very promptly stating they just sent the wrong one and to keep the regular bag to get me by and the xl was sent and I got it a few days later. Thank you I will order again, most places make you feel like it's your fault.
