Many microbial products work just on the surface level, never fully colonizing within the plant for optimal results. Sometimes growers have to apply both foliar and soil microbes to maximize their effects. Knowing that growers need solutions that support plant and soil biology without adding complexity to their programs, we welcome Biophyter!
BioPhyter is a unique systemic microbial inoculant formulated with the endophytic spores of Beauveria bassiana, designed to enhance plant and soil health from within. Effective across a wide range of production systems, including greenhouse, nursery, hydroponic, and field-grown crops. Applied to soil, roots, or foliage, BioPhyter works by establishing beneficial microbial activity in the root zone and throughout the plant. This biological presence supports overall plant vigor and helps create a more resilient growing environment.
With flexible application methods including seed treatment, root dips, soil drenches, foliar sprays, and chemigation, BioPhyter integrates easily into existing crop production programs. Used at planting or throughout the growing season, it provides consistent biological support where plants need it most.
Key Benefits:
- Introduces beneficial microbial activity inside plants, as well as soil and plant surfaces
- Supports root zone health and early plant establishment
- Improves nutrient and water distribution throughout the plant
- Improves stress resilience
- Flexible application across multiple growing systems
- Compatible with integrated crop management strategies
- Suitable for greenhouse, nursery, hydroponic, and field use

General Use:
- Apply at planting or early growth stages for best results
- Reapply throughout the growing season as needed
Tank Mixing: Do not tank mix with pesticides, fertilizers, or adjuvants unless you've treated a few plants before treating large numbers of plants to confirm compatibility.
Application Instructions: Avoid Application when used alongside disease control products, apply those first and wait up to 24 hours before applying BioPhyter
Application Timing: Apply when soil temperatures are above 45°F for optimal performance
Application Rates:
Cutting and Root Dip: Mix 0.5-1.0 fl. Oz. per 10 gallons of water and dip cuttings or bare roots for 10-20 seconds before planting. Apply immediately prior to transplanting to support early root establishment.
Chemigation (Drip or Overhead Irrigation): Apply at a minimum of 1.0 fl. Oz. per acre through irrigation systems, ensuring even distribution throughout the root zone. Reapply as needed during the growing season, especially when soil temperatures exceed 45°F.
Foliar Spray (Outdoor Field Crops): Apply 0.5-1.0 fl. Oz. per acre in at least 15 gallons of water, targeting lower leaves and stems near the soil. Reapply throughout the season as needed to maintain consistent coverage.
Foliar Spray (Greenhouse/Indoor Crops): Apply 0.25 fl. Oz. per 10,000 sq. ft. in 2-5 gallons of water, focusing on lower foliage and growing media contact points. Repeat applications as needed based on crop cycle and conditions.
Hydroponic Systems: Add 1.0 fl. Oz. per 100 gallons of nutrient solution when transplants are introduced. Reapply weekly or whenever fresh water is added to maintain microbial presence.
In-Furrow Application: Apply 1.0 fl. Oz. per acre in a minimum of 10 gallons of water at planting. Deliver directly over or behind the seed before covering to target the developing root zone.
Soil/Media Drench (Greenhouse, Nursery, Indoor): Apply 1.0 fl. Oz. per 100 gallons of water or nutrient solution, ensuring thorough saturation of the root zone. Reapply as needed throughout the crop cycle.
Seed Treatment: Apply 1.0 fl. Oz. per 100 lbs. of seed using a water-based suspension for even coverage. Use treated seed within 24 hours and do not store the suspension.
Turf Application: Apply 0.25 fl. Oz. per 10,000 sq. ft. with sufficient water to reach 3-6 inches into the soil. Reapply as needed during the growing season when soil temperatures are above 45°F.
Environment: For use in Greenhouse production, Nursery systems, Hydroponic systems, Field-grown crops, Indoor and outdoor horticultural production
Storage: Store in a cool, dry area. Keep container tightly closed when
not in use. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or temperatures exceeding 90°F.
