Utilize Poultry Guard to kill poultry mite and lice, fleas and beetles on birds and around bedding or cages. Rinsing not required.
This Product Controls These Pests or Diseases: Mites, ticks, fleas, mold, mildew, and viruses.
Can be applied as a spray to coops, infected areas, floors, walls, ceilings and in cracks and crevices or directly to birds as a dip or spray according to directions. It can also be applied in a mister for commercial farms. For preventative control as a spray, apply weekly. For preventative control utilizing other application methods, apply monthly. Always mix with warm at a temperature between 70-90°F.
- For control of poultry mites and lice - Mix at a ratio of 1 oz./31 oz. water or 4 oz./124 oz. of water.
- For control of fleas or beetles - Mix at a ratio of 8 oz./1 gallon of water.
- To clean bedding area or cages - Mix at a ratio of 4-8 oz./1 gallon of water. Remove all bedding and litter and spray entire area including cracks and crevices and replace bedding if severally infested.
- For direct application on birds always use according to directions on the label only. Note: When spraying adult birds avoid contact with eyes and if using as a dip do not immerse their heads. For heavy infestations, gently stroke feathers in opposite direction and spray underneath. Always keep young, old or ill birds warm until the product fully dries.
Storage: Keep away from children and pets. Store in original, tightly closed container in a cool, dry area, ideally between 50°F-75°F. Do not allow to freeze or exceed 120°F.
