Do you have difficult dirt or rich, fertile soil? Healthy soil that is rich in macro and micro-nutrients is crucial for successful growing. ARBICO's Soil Analysis will tell you what you need to know in order to develop better quality soil and grow healthy plants, lawns and trees.
Your soil sample will be tested for the following elements:
- Estimated nitrogen release

What you receive:
You will receive a graphical soil analysis report detailing the tested element levels (see above) and pH of your soil sample. Included in the report are initial recommendations based on the results. If you have further questions after you receive the report, you can call an ARBICO Organics Specialist to help guide your recommendations to the right products to achieve your growing goals. ***If you submit mixed material from containers (mixes, amendments, etc - not earth soil), we will only be able to provide a nutrient profile.
1) Collect soil samples from 6-10 locations in your growing area(s).
- A couple of tablespoons from each location are sufficient. A total of at least 2 cups of soil are required to perform a successful analysis.
- Dig down 12 inches for each sample.
- Place in a closeable plastic bag and seal carefully.
- Include the following information along with your sample
- Approximate dimensions of growing area
- Depth of sample(s)
- Method of irrigation
- What amendments have been applied (if any)
- What crops or plants have previously been grown
- What crops or plants are planned
- Approximate planting dates
- Preference for recommendations - Pounds per acre or Per 1000 sq. ft

3) Your soil analysis will be emailed to you approximately 2-3 weeks after we receive your sample.
