This jute matting is made from hand spun, coarse coconut coir yarn. Coconut Coir is made from the fibrous shell of coconuts. It is relatively waterproof, resists salt water damage and is completely biodegradable.
This matting comes in a 4' width and is suitable for use in stabilizing soil, it works to protect soil surfaces from wind and water erosion, use it to create partial shade or to store heat to help accelerate root development. Jute Erosion Control Matting meets most DOT specifications and requirements.
Suggested Uses:
Erosion control and stabilization on: landfill slopes, embankments, sand dunes, drainage ditches, highway construction, sod, stream banks, water channels, shorelines, river banks. Use on golf courses, wasteland restoration, hydroseeding, re-vegetation, new landscaping and reclaimed wetland areas.
