Effective pre-emergent herbicide!

Formulated from corn gluten meal, this pre-emergent controls crabgrass and other broadleaf weeds including dandelions and clover by releasing organic proteins into the soil that prevent weeds from growing. This liquid formulation is easy to use and can be applied with a sprayer three weeks before or after seeding.

Also available in quart-sized Ready to Spray bottles. Each shipment contains two quart-sized bottles. If you prefer applying granules, try out Sustane Spring Weed & Feed!

This Product Controls These Pests or Diseases: Use as a preventative control for Annual Grasses and Broadleaf weeds.

Read label and apply according to directions. Mix 32 ounces of concentrate with 1.5-2 gallons of water to treat 1,000 sq. ft and agitate before use. Efficacy is diminished by excess moisture and product should not be applied if rain is expected and delay irrigation for 24 hours.

Liquid form of corn gluten

If you are on the Arbico site you are also looking for safer forms of yard/garden care. In avoiding toxic chemicals I started using the corn gluten granules on my lawn to prevent the numerous weeds. And even though the granules are non-toxic too, the dog liked picking them out of the grass and eating them (didn't like her doing that) and it took a couple of weeks for them to breakdown. I appreciated Arbico adding the liquid form to their product as it prevents my dog from snacking. The granules worked great I see less weeds each year and though I just applied the liquid gluten 2 weeks ago I can't imagine that it will not work as well and the dry.
