Application tips:
- For applying dry or granular material: remove the sprayer head and take off the siphon tube. Fill the container with the recommended amount of solid material for the area you wish to cover, screw on the lid and attach it to the hose. Make sure everything is in the “Off” position, select the “granular” setting and select the correct spray pattern, turn the water on, slide water switch to “On” and apply. When the jar is clear, you are done!
- For liquids: Remove the sprayer head, make sure the siphon tube is attached, and add the correct amount of liquid per gallon to the container and fill with water to that gallon mark. For instance, if you need 1 T per gallon, and you want to spray 3 gallons, put 3 T in the sprayer and fill to the 3 gallon mark. Turn the selection knob to the correct gallon setting, select your spray pattern, and attach the head to the container and the hose. Again, make sure everything is in the “Off” position, turn the water on, slide the water switch to “On” and apply. In the example, when the container is empty, you will have sprayed 3 gallons of properly mixed solution onto your area.
- For Nematodes: Use the liquid setting. Amounts are based on the volume of nematodes, not the weight.
- For covering up to 800 square feet, place approximately 1 1/2 teaspoons of dry nematodes in the container, then fill to the 3 gallon mark. (for Garden size)
- For covering up to 2000 square feet, place approximately 1 tablespoon of dry nematodes in the container, then fill to the 6 gallon mark. (for Garden size)
- For covering up to 5000 square feet, place approximately 4 teaspoons of dry nematodes in the container, then fill to the 15 gallon mark. For ½ acre, apply 4 times. (for Farm Size)
- For covering up to 7500 square feet, place approximately 5 ½ teaspoons of dry nematodes in the container, then fill to the 21 gallon mark. For ½ acre, apply 3 times. (for Farm Size)
- Follow the rest of the liquid directions above.

This is the best mixing tool for any spray on. I don't know why I stuggled with Back Pack Sprayers.
