Plant Parasitic Nematodes
Root knot nematodes are tiny, almost microscopic creatures that infest plant roots and cause stunting, witling, yellowing, reduction of flowering, fruit set, and fruit development, and sometimes even plant death. They have a widespread distribution and will feed on over 2,000 species of plants, including all major field crops, vegetable crops, turf, ornamentals, and legumes. Root knot nematodes prefer warm weather and moist, well aerated soils. Use our recommended organic products to eliminate root knot nematodes. |
