Sometimes the simplest of solutions can be the most powerful and these sticky traps prove just that. Lock Down Pads are bright yellow circles of plastic coated on one side in a super-sticky, specially formulated adhesive. Once wrapped around a plant, these sticky traps will grab and hold any insects that dares to approach. To make these traps even more effective, this particular shade of yellow is especially alluring to many soft-bodied insects and they are drawn in to their doom.
Lock Down Pads come in a variety of sizes to meet your specific planting and growing needs. For example:
- The 6" circle is awesome on Rockwool growing. It will not only keep bugs off the plants, it will help inhibit fungus and mold, block debris and light and keep cubes cooler (which helps deter pathogens).
- The 12" circle fits 2 gallon (and larger) inserts and containers.
They can be used in 3 ways: Cone Up, Cone Down or Basic/Flat (sticky side up or down). Coning makes hand watering a breeze - water right on the pad and get the water to flow where you need it.
- Can be used in hydroponic systems or in soil
- Pesticide free and environmentally safe
- For indoor/outdoor use
- Easy to handle and easy to use
- Water-resistant
- No-mess, non-drying glue
- Odor-free
For best results, use pre-emptively before you see any insects. Lock Down Pads can be used in combination with other pest control efforts (including sprays such as Azera Gardening and Debug Turbo) as part of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program.
Suggested Uses: Use to attract and kill a wide variety of insect pests on plants growing in soil or hydroponic mediums.
