Since its introduction in 1922, this wonderful little bush bean has become a staple in many home gardens. You can fit these plants in nearly anywhere; they grow upright to only about 19-22" and require no support. The pods of the Tendergreen Bush Bean are 5-6" long, smooth, rounded and stringless. They will be medium-dark green in color, although you may find a few purple specks on them. This high yielding plant will provide you with lots of meaty, tender and flavorful beans, even into the hot days of summer. You can enjoy these beans fresh out of the garden in a multitude of recipes, but they also hold up well for canning and freezing.
