The Smart Mouse Trap is perfect for trapping those pesky mice. It senses when the mouse enters to retrieve the bait and snaps the door shut. The little critter will stay in the trap enjoying his treat until you come and release him in a safe place.

To use this easy "no kill" mousetrap simply place a "saltine" cracker in the bait holder, set the trap and check frequently (make sure you check daily or you may starve a trapped mouse). Take the trap with the live mouse still inside to a wooded or brushy area and open the door and set the mouse free. Escape is delayed until the mouse chews through the cracker. This delay avoids contact between the mouse and the trap user and gives the mouse a little snack to keep him nourished for a while.

I bought two traps. We put them out as instructed. The mice had a nice little meal and left. I suspect that mice don't weigh enough to trip the door closure mechanism. . I don't suppose there is a guarantee? My mice can't be any different then anyone else's mice. Too bad that there is no Zero rating.

I have been using these mouse traps for year. The trap is very simple to use. I prime the trap with mouse or rat food, set the trap and wait. The most important thing is to check the trap at least once a day because once the little guys get in they are not getting out. Once a mouse is locked in the trap, give the little guy a free ride and then go to your favorite park and set them free. I've seen other traps were a bar would forcefully come down hard on their necks and kill them or else they are stuck to paper by way of glue. Either alternative is not very humane to me. This is a GREAT product. The little plastic latch keeps the trap secure wore out which is why I am ordering another one.

I purchased this specific trap because the like kind I was using for years broke. This product works like a charm. I do wish it were a bit easier to clean, but obviously the mice dont mind.

I wanted so bad to save the mice in my basement. Paid for overnight shipping for this thing and 3 nights in a row, I found mouse poop in the trap and the door failed to close each time. Finally (unfortunately) got kill traps and got 3 mice in one night. Thought my problem was over but found more mice tonight in the basement. I ended up cornering one and coaxing it into this humane trap and witnessed with my own eyes how the mouse was inside the trap and the door not closing like it should have. Unfortunately spent $40 on this trap and shipping for it not to work, only to spend more money on kill traps and having to kill up to 10 mice :( next up is an exterminator. Wish this worked!

Within a few hours of setting this up, it worked like a charm - we caught the pesky little guy making a home in our kitchen, and a humane way. We were able to relocate him to a nearby field. This is a very easy to use, clean, and humane way to catch mice and move them away from your house. I can't recommend it enough.

This Smart Mouse Trap really works!! Our cat brought us two live mice as "presents." We caught both and released them into the woods with this trap. Thoroughly recommend!!
