SCD ProBio Balance Original is a blend of probiotic cultures that have been produced through a natural fermentation process that uses proprietary probiotic technology. When introduced into any living system, these cultures promote the growth of naturally-occurring beneficial microorganisms. SCD ProBio Balance Original contains enhanced levels of phototropic Purple Non-Sulfur Bacteria (PNSB). These bacterial can live in both aerobic and anaerobic environments, which allows this product to work in many different applications, including composting, odor control and manure management.
This mother culture concentrate is all-natural, environmentally safe and biodegradable. It can be used activated or inactivated. Activating this culture will create 20x more product. In other words, a gallon of SCD ProBiotic Balance Original< will make 20 gallons of probiotic product ready to use. You will need to add molasses to the mother culture when activating. Large Scale Food Composting –
Provides odor control and accelerated composting when sprayed on compost at a rate of 1-3 liters per ton of compost material. Dilute with water as needed.
Indoor Composting –
Dilute at a ratio of 1:10 with water and apply every two (2) weeks.
Commercial/Residential Odor Control –
Provides odor control caused by mold, mildew, smoke or pets when sprayed on the affected areas at a rate of 1:10 - 1:100.
Storage: Store at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Best when used before it's "Best Before" date – extended storage is not recommended. If in doubt, test the pH of the product and do not use if pH is greater than 3.9.
