ARBICO Organics Root Build 240 is a micronized mycorrhizal blend suitable for most crops!
Soil preparation is imperative when readying plants and the growing environment for the upcoming season! ARBICO Organics Root Build 240 provides a mixture of mycorrhizae that aids most plants establish themselves. Mycorrhizal fungi form symbiotic relationships with plant roots to stimulate the development of healthy, strong root systems throughout the growing season. Roots of over 90% of plants on earth form this beneficial relationship with mycorrhizae. The blend of ectomycorrhizal and endomycorrhizal fungal species in Root Build 240 is carefully mixed with other organic components and is suitable for use in a wide variety of soils and climates. The result is a replenished natural microbial system on the roots of inoculated plants that increases crop productivity, quality and sustainability. In addition, Root Build 240 helps reduce the effects of transplant shock while promoting extensive root growth.
Benefits of Root Build 240:
- Accelerates & increases plant growth.
- Improves transplant success & reduces transplant shock.
- Increases nutrient/water absorption.
- Helps plants fight disease & promotes drought/salinity resilience.
Directions for Use: The mycorrhizae should be placed so that new roots will come into contact with the mycorrhizal spores. For additional instructions and specific application rates, see the Instruction Sheet or refer to the Instructions Tab to the right (desktop) or below (mobile).

Dry Applications:
Transplant Trees, Vines, and Shrubs: Sprinkle approximately 1/4 tablespoon per gallon of container size directly on damp roots/rootball immediately before planting or sprinkle in planting hole. Use 1 tbsp for each 5 gal transplant size or 0.5 oz per inch of stem diameter.
Small Transplants/Seedlings and Cuttings: Sprinkle dry product directly on roots or dip rootball at a rate of 1/4 teaspoon per plant. For cuttings, dip moist cut end or roots in dry product, allow to dry for a few minutes before planting in growing media. Use 1/2 tsp for larger transplants and cuttings.
Potting Media: Mix evenly at between 1/4 and 3/4 lb per cubic yard of potting mix.
For Large Areas: The broadcast application rate is 10 lb per acre.
Wet Applications:
Drench/Spray: Mix well and keep agitated in water at rate of 2 tbsp per gal. of water. Water in as a soil spray or drench. If soil spray make sure to follow with sufficient water to move spores into root zone.
Root Dip: Mix well and keep agitated in water at rate of 2 tbsp per gallon of water. Dip roots before planting.
Environment: Vegetable Gardens, Outdoors, Crops, Orchards & Vineyards, Nursery, Greenhouse, Grow Room, Hydroponics, Interiorscapes, Container Plants, Houseplants
Storage: Store in original container in a cool, dry environment. Store out of direct sunlight and under 95°.
Warning & Toxicities: Wear a mask when applying Root Build 240, particularly if you have known lung sensitivity. No toxicity known. Not intended for human or animal consumption.
