Since it was founded in 1999, Sativa Rheinau in Switzerland has been committed to providing independently sourced and gene-free seeds for the ultimate in organic growing. This commitment to purity has brought us the Rheinau Gold Yellow Zucchini Squash. This bush-type plant is highly productive through a long growing season and will yield lots of yellow-gold fruit. This fruit has a mild flavor and a thin skin; there's no need to peel them. This zucchini will be somewhat shorter that a traditional green zucchini when fully grown. Every now and then, a green fruit will appear on a Rheinau Gold plant; you will find these to be just as tender and flavorful as the golden ones. To encourage adequate pollination, plant your squash next to those plants that attract bees and other pollinators.
