A lacinto-type kale, Nero Di Toscana is also known as Black Palm for its resemblance to palm fronds. Leaves are dark green, growing 10 inches long and 2-3 inches wide. With a texture crossed between between kale and cabbage, this variety is extremely cold hardy and becomes sweet after a freeze.
