This OMRI listed, broad spectrum antifungal and antibacterial spray concentrate has an active ingredient of Citric Acid. It works on a wide array of plant fungal pathogens and bacterial diseases by smothering fungal mycelium and spores, thus inhibiting growth. Fungastop L&G also helps plants resist attack by encouraging the production of pathogenesis related protein compounds.
Fungastop L&G is a low toxicity/non-corrosive alternative to conventional synthetic fungicides. In fact, it has been manufactured in compliance with the USA EPA Minimum Risk Pesticide Regulations, 40 CFR152.25 (f) and requires no EPA registrations, reporting or Pest ID#. The benign nature of this product also means that it can be applied up to the day of harvest (0-day PHI) and that there is no restricted entry interval (0-hour REI) before you can enter the sprayed area.
Suggested Uses: For use on/in field crops, ornamentals, nurseries, turf, orchards, table grapes, fruits, citrus, vegetables, flowers and other horticultural crops. Fungastop L&G can be applied as a root dip, a band spray, seed treatment, spot application or a broadcast spray. It also can be tank mixed with other foliar pesticides, wetting agents, biostimulants and liquid fertilizers
Dilution Rates: To make 1 gallon of spray: Mix 2.5 - 5.0 ounces of product in 1 gallon of water.
- Mild Disease Pressure (2% dilution) – 1 gal/50 gal water
- 4% dilution: 1 gal/25 gal of water for severe disease

This Product Controls These Pests or Diseases: Alternaria, Botrytis, Fusarium, Phytophthora, Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia, Corynebacterium, Erwinia, Pseudomonas, Xanthomonas
Mixing Instructions: Fill the sprayer 2/3rds full with clean water. Mix the contents of the Fungastop L&G container thoroughly by shaking or stirring prior to measuring out the proper dosage. Pour Fungastop L&G into the spray tank and agitate the mixture thoroughly before and during the spray process. It may be tank mixed with other foliar pesticides, wetting agents, biostimulants and liquid fertilizers. Do a jar test to determine compatibility.
Band or Broadcast Spray – Band applications conserve the volume of product and water needed to cover the area and are especially desirable when applying to plants in the early stage of development. Set equipment to apply diluted spray for uniform coverage of plant surfaces, but not to the point of runoff. Spray mist should contact all parts of the plant.
- Timing: Apply diluted spray after irrigation and NOT before rain. Do not irrigate treated areas for as long as possible (12 hours minimum) to ensure the product will not be washed off the leaf surface.
- Frequency: Apply when conditions are favorable for disease development. Apply at 7-15 day intervals, depending on disease pressure and environmental conditions.
Root Dip – Prepare a container of Fungastop L&G using a dilution rate of 2.5-5.0 oz. per gallon of water. Dip the roots of the plant into the container of Fungastop L&G and water. Leave the roots in the container for 2-5 minutes or until the root mass is saturated and fully exposed to the Fungastop L&G and water mixture. Plant as usual.
Seed Treatment (Soaking or Drenching) – As a soak, put the seeds in a cloth bag, then soak the cloth bag in a container with Fungastop L&G, diluted at the equivalent rate of 1 pint/5 gals of water (2.5%). Soak for a period of 1-24 hours, depending on the seed coat hardness. Open the cloth bag and spread the seeds in order to dry them enough for planting. As a drench, using the same dilution formula for soaking, expose the seeds to the drench and then air dry the seeds prior to planting.
Spot Treatment – Apply by spray application at wound sites to limit disease infections that can follow pruning.
Storage: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal. Store only in original container in a dry place inaccessible to children and pets. Avoid excessive heat and direct sunlight. Empty containers may be rinsed and offered for recycling or discarded in the trash.
Warning & Toxicities: Keep out of reach of children. May cause eye irritation. Repeated contact may cause skin irritation. Breathing vapor mist may cause respiratory irritation.
Work Clothing: Work clothing: Fungastop L&G is non-toxic and not corrosive. However, it is advisable to use protective clothing as a precaution. All handlers should wear face mask or safety goggles, long sleeve shirt, long pants, shoes, socks and gloves.
Shelf Life: Shelf life is 2 years under proper storage conditions.
