Crimson Clover, Trifolium incarnatum is a nitrogen-fixing plant with deep roots that will help to break up the soil while the nitrogen improves the soil. It makes an excellent hay. In addition to these fine attributes, the plants produce brilliant red flowers that attract beneficial insects. Plant when nighttime temperatures are between 60° and 69° F ambient to promote seed germination.
