This premium, organic soil amendment is a volcanic scoria sourced from ancient volcanic cones in the American West. It is full of essential trace minerals (including potassium, magnesium, copper zinc, iron and boron) that have been trapped deep in the earth and are ready to be slowly released into your soil (or soilless growing media). The angular and porous nature of Cinderite enhances aeration in the soil and means it can excel at holding water and delivering nutrients efficiently to plants. The volcanic source of this remarkable product gives it a paramagnetic charge that can attract and redistribute energy and nutrients and move them along to where they are needed most - your plants' roots.

Cinderite comes in 4 versions; choose the one that best suits your particular needs:

Cinderite ParaBlend – This is the version that's used for general field applications. It is fine enough for decomposition by microbial life, but also has a large enough aggregate to have soil conditioning properties.

Cinderite ParaFines – This version is like a rock dust and can be broadcast over lawns, sod or pasture. Also an excellent choice for germination mediums and microgreens.

Cinderite ParaLite – Use this version as a Perlite replacement. It increases moisture/nutrient retention while lowering the overall bulk density of the soil.

Cinderite ParaHydro – This version has been created specifically for hydroponic/aquaponic use.

PRODUCT	DIRECTIONS FOR USE	WHEN TO USE
Cinderite ParaBlend	Garden Soil & New Lawns – 1-part ParaBlend to 8-parts soil (1:8). For raised beds & bulk mixing, add ~65 lbs/1yd soil. For traditional gardens or soil prep, incorporate 200 lbs/1,000 sq ft (20 lbs/100 sq ft). Perennials & Trees – Top dress 1-2" within the same diameter as the canopy or within a 3" radius from the root flare (approx. 6 lbs per sq ft). Potted Plants – 1 cup/6" pot diameter as a top dressing or 1-2 cups/gallon of soil mix.	Use anytime, but for optimal results use during fall soil preparation.
Cinderite ParaFines	Amend lawns, sod or pasture at a rate of 10 lbs/200 sq ft. May be broadcast by hand or a granular fertilizer spreader. When applying new seed or laying sod, use ParaBlend.	Use anytime, but for optimal results apply immediately after aeration.
Cinderite ParaLite	20%-40% ratio of potting soil or growing medium. Potted Plants – Incorporate into a potting mix as you would with perlite &ndash typically 1 part ParaLite/4 parts soil, potting mix or other growing medium.	As desired.
Cinderite ParaHydro	Wash thoroughly. Use as you would with other grow mediums.	As desired.

I picked up a sample of Cinderite at the Albuquerque hemp fest last SUmmer. A man told me that it would make my plants beautiful. I was skeptical about it. but after using this product it worked miracles. He told me it would get rid of my caterpillars. My thought was " they are on the plant not the soil" I have a 5 gal. bucket, applied a couple of heaping tablespoons and watered it and 3 days later they were gone. Love this product because it is all natural. No spray, no poison. The benefits are priceless. I will always use this product.
