NemaClean 10% WP is an organic wettable powder nematicide that targets plant-parasitic nematode eggs, juveniles, and adults by using spores of the soil fungus Purpureocillium lilacinum strain PL11. These spores go after the nematodes in a powerful 1-2-3 attack that quickly and thoroughly deals with the plant-damaging pests like this:
- When applied to the soil, the NemaClean spores will find the nematodes and adhere to the cuticle around its body.
- The spores will then germinate on the cuticle and penetrate the nematode's body.
- Once inside the body, the spores will feast on the internal contents and kill the unwanted nematode.
It is important that NemaClean comes into direct contact with the nematodes as quickly as possible. To maximize the coverage of NemaClean, there are a few things you may want to do:
- Lightly pre-irrigate if you're dealing with dry soil.
- Add a soil-penetrating adjuvant to your application.
- Use post-application irrigation to water in the product.
In addition to its overall performance, specific benefits to NemaClean include:
- OMRI Listed in the United States
- Will not harm beneficial nematodes Read More
- Supports nutrient uptake into the plant while promoting strong plant development.
- 0-day PHI (pre-harvest interval) and 12-hour REI (Restricted Entry Interval).
- Reduces root damage by stopping the nematodes in their tracks.
- Multiple application methods make it easy to integrate into most any crop program.
- No in-season use limits allows for use and re-use whenever it is most needed.
- Makes a superior choice to use in an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system.
- Healthy plants that are free from nematode predation will produce stronger, more bountiful yields.

This Product Controls These Pests or Diseases: Awl nematodes (Dolichodorus species). Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis), Citrus nematode (Tylenchulus semipenetrans), False root knot nematodes (Naccobus species), Lance nematodes (Hoplolaimus species), Lesion nematodes (Pratylenchus species), Reniform nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis), Ring nematodes (Criconemoides, Criconemella and Mesocriconema species), Root Knot Nematodes (Meloidogyne species), Spiral nematodes (Helicotylenchus and Rotylenchus species), Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci), Sting nematode (Belonolaimus longicaudatus), Stubby root nematodes (Trichodorus and Paratrichodorus species), Stunt nematodes (Tylenchorhynchus species)
NemaClean is as effective as a standalone product or in rotation with conventional nematicides. It has no in-season application limits, so it's an excellent choice for long-season crops and double-cropping systems.
- Do NOT tank mix with fungicides, strong acids or bases that can reduce the viability of the spores.
- Use after fumigants to reduce re-infestation and extend protection throughout the season.
- For best results, prepare the mixture right before using.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
- Timing: Pre-plant, at-plant, and post-plant applications depending on crop and pressure.
- Methods: Soil drench, in-furrow, transplant water, banded, or through irrigation systems (drip or overhead).
- Rates: For best results, apply 0.25-2 lbs./A Under high pressure, start with 2 lbs./A, followed by 1 lb./A in subsequent applications for sustained control.
