Beauvaria bassiana, the active ingredient in PRINCIPLE WP, is a live fungus that has been used in biocontrol for decades with success in insect control. When the fungal spores contact a host insect, they infect the pest with white muscardine disease. This sporulation colonizes the pest and leads to death in 24-96 hours. (Under appropriate conditions)
PRINCIPLE WP is an excellent choice for growers to control destructive plant pests such as aphids, thrips, whiteflies and mealybugs.
