A Low-Tech but Supremely Effective Method for Fungus Gnat Control.

Fungus gnats and other little bitty flying insects are not only annoying, they can also do real harm to your plants by feeding on sap, leaves, and roots. Enoz BioCare Gnat Stix are a simple way to gain control over these little pests. Fungus gnats, aphids, plant lice, and other similar insects are attracted to the specific shade of yellow of these traps and will land on them, become stuck, and perish. These sticky traps are small and narrow (1" x 4"), so they can fit easily into a potted plant, and they come with wooden stakes to attach them to.

This Product Controls These Pests or Diseases: Aphids (Mult), Fungus Gants (Bradysia impatiens), Mites (Tetranychus sp), Plant Lice (Psyllidae sp)

Instructions:

Peel release paper from the yellow sticky sheet.
Slide stake through the holes in the sticky sheet - use just one sticky strip for each stake.
Use one Gnat Stix for each infested plant and one for all other plants in the same room and nearby rooms. Avoid touching leaves with sticky paper.
For best results, replace when full of insects or every 3 months.
In case of skin contact, use vegetable oil to remove glue.

Storage: Store in original container in a cool, dry place.

Really works!

I was desperate to rid my houseplants of hundreds of gnats that arrived in my organic soil after I repotted cuttings. I tried every DIY solution without success. When I Googled these sticky strips I had nothing to lose ( except the gnats!) They worked! It is awesome. Within a week I have only seen one or two flying around and soon they will be caught on the sticky paper!

These were very helpful in my experience. I spread out a generous amount of natural sand at the topsoil covering the entire area about 1/8th inch thick to discourage burrowing and also used the gnat stix to catch the ones above. This made a major difference for me. (Also, i was careful to never over-water the plants to discourage those pesky gnats from seeking out soil fungus. I made sure the plants were watered, but not overly so.) Very pleased with this product. I'd much rather use this method than spraying potentially poisonous jazz around the plants.

We had a SERIOUS gnat problem here at my job. Our issue had gotten so bad it seemed as if my desk was sitting outside rather than in a building bc I was constantly swatting flies and finding them floating in my drinks. I went home one evening determined to find a solution...I researched this issue as if it was a school project! I came across a couple of things but the reviews were iffy..some even suggested Gnat Stix in the midst of another products review. So I started looking and researching GNAT STIX and convinced myself to order...had nothing to lose being that our problem was already at max! i ordered a pack of gnat stix and it arrived within 2 days...some reviews suggested using them with apple cider vinegar and dawn detergent...I figured since they liked my coffee so well I would try that 1st. That evening as I was leaving I set a half cup of coffee on my desk with the gnat stix sticking out of it, closed my door and went home. That next morning I had over 20 gnats attached to my trap. Since then everyone in my department is using this method and our gnat problem has subsided...and I have already placed another order for more gnat stix! I'm convinced!!!
