ArborChar begins with 100% untreated, unpainted hardwood with no additional salt added. Using a thermochemical conversion process, the wood is then turned into a highly porous carbon material known as biochar. When added to soil, biochar increases permeability (even in sandy or clay soils), sequesters carbon, and boosts water retention capabilities. ArborChar improves this already remarkable biochar by adding a fertilizer with an NPK of 5-6-4. The combination of the two makes for an outstanding product with multiple benefits.

Use Instructions:
- Mix in at least 1 inch below the surface in new planting beds, around established plants, or in root zone when planting.
- Repeat applications throughout the growing season every 2-4 weeks to maintain optimal nutrition.
- Water in thoroughly after application.
RESTRICTIONS:
- Use only as directed.
- Use caution when applying to sensitive or immature plants. Test a small area before applying throughout.
- Do not apply to plants that are damaged by herbicides.
- Do not apply during temperature extremes (less than 40°F or more than 90°F) or in a 48 hours period when these extremes are expected.
- Keep away from heat and open flame.
