This excellent organic insecticide uses a singular formulation of the heat-killed cells of the Burkholderia spp. strain A396 (a naturally occurring soil bacterium) and spent fermentation media to control an extensive list of targeted pests. It works by causing enzymatic degradation of exoskeleton structures and will interfere with the molting process, causing mortality through contact and/or ingestion. Although this is a potent insecticide, Arber Insecticide for Tomato & Vegetable is also cultured and fermented to produce certain compounds and metabolites that are beneficial for plants. These compounds and metabolites promote healthy plant growth and induce systemic resistance that boosts a plant's natural defense mechanism. Additionally, the modes of action used for control will reduce the risk of target insects developing resistance. With one application of Arber Insecticide for Tomato & Vegetable you will kill unwanted pests and give your plants a little extra help to be its best.
The Arber Insecticide for Tomato & Vegetable RTS (Ready to Spray) comes equipped with a hose-end garden sprayer, which allows for maximum coverage (up to 2,500 sq. ft.) in a fast and easy application with no mixing required. However, the product in the container is a standard concentrated 16 oz.; so you can take it straight out of the bottle and dilute it if you choose to.
- Can be used on fruits and vegetables, nuts and berries, herbs and ornamentals.
- Controls or suppresses many of the most common damaging insects including foliar feeding insects, soft-bodied insects, and plant-sucking mites. See below for a complete list of insects that can be controlled.
- Starts working in minutes and offers consistent, year-long protection for your plants.
- No harsh chemicals or unpleasant odor.
- Plants are safe to harvest within 30 minutes after application.
- This 16 oz. size is ideal for small to medium-sized gardens and raised beds.
- To minimize potential exposure to bees and other pollinating insects, do not apply while bees are foraging.
Arber Insecticide Tomato & Vegetable RTS has been evaluated for toxicity to non-target insects in a variety of bioassays and on a variety of plants under normal growing conditions. However, testing all beneficial insects, in all situations, mixtures and concentrations is not feasible. If you plan to release beneficial insects into your garden, consult with Arbico Organics, an extension specialist, or with the product manager prior to treating the entire garden.
