Early Summer Crookneck Squash has been pleasing growers and diners alike here in North America for untold hundreds of years. These compact bush-type plants are prolific producer s and will fill your garden with swan-necked fruit in shades of yellow that mature to a light orange, The skin of the fruit will be warted, but when you cut it open you will find smooth creamy-white flesh. This rich flesh is gloriously sweet and buttery. For optimal flavor, we recommend you pick your squash when it is 5-6" long. As the name suggests, this will be an early producer and will keep you stocked through the long season, but don't worry if you have more than you can eat – it freezes well.
Days To Maturity: 42-60
