The variety is the1964 All America Selection winner, is hardy and produces heavy yields of 20-25 lb. fruits! Melons are medium green with darker green-striped markings and incredibly sweet red centers! They are also resistant to fusarium wilt and anthracnose. Plant after the last hard freeze and where summers are long you can plant through late June.
