The Bush Pickle Cucumber is a small and compact pickling cucumber variety that is perfect for container growing. The plant bears 5" green cucumbers in a compact plant that does not vine and requires approximately half the space required to grow typical varieties. Matures in 45 days, harvest before they reach 5" in length. Tip: keep plants moist to avoid cucumbers embittering and don't plant alongside cantaloupe to avoid the cucumbers taking on the melon flavor. The Bush Pickle Cucumberplant is tolerant of Scab and Mosaic Virus.
