These beans have been collected from Northeastern Arizona, where they have been dry farmed by the Hopi Indians for centuries in and around the Three Mesas area near Hotevilla. A high-yielding, pole type plant with white flowers, it produces medium-large pink beans. They can be eaten young as green beans or mature as a dried bean. You can harvest the dried pods throughout the growing season or harvest the whole plants. Generally self-pollinating, but can cross with other plants.
