Grotto is an organic, flowable liquid copper fungicide/bactericide for prevention and control of most common diseases on a variety of crops. Designed for commercial applications, Grotto is labelled for use on greenhouse and shadehouse vegetables and herbs, ornamentals, and turf. This highly effective liquid formulation is 10% copper octanoate, a fatty acid based copper soap.
Grotto works in two ways: It will help the active ingredient of copper enter the pathogenic cells, denature them, and eventually cause fatal cell leakage. The soap also allows Grotto to spread smoothly and consistently across plant surfaces, providing essential coverage for prevention of new infections.
Advantages Include:
- For use in organic or traditional growing.
- For best results, apply when disease symptoms first appear, or as a preventative measure before diseases normally occur.
- Can be applied as a foliar spray, tank-mixed with other products, in hydroponics and via chemigation,.
- Works as a curative and as a preventative.
- 4 hr. REI (Restricted Entry Interval) and 0-day PHI (Pre-Harvest Interval)
- Can be used with pesticides and fertilizers. However, use caution when mixing with chelated or liquid fertilizers.
- May cause copper toxicity on some plant species, always test before using.
For use on greenhouse, nursery and shadehouse vegetables and herbs, ornamentals, and turf. Almonds, avocados, berries, cactus, citrus, coffee, corn, cucurbits, grapes, olives, peas, pine trees, pome and stone fruits, roses, tobacco, turf and more.

TANK MIXING:
When tank mixing, the pH of the mixed solution should be above 6.5 to minimize risk of phytotoxicity and crop damage. Do not tank mix with Areca or other acid forming materials. Growers should test for compatibility and make sure to follow all directions and precautions on labels prior to application.
HYDROPONICS:
Apply as a foliar spray only. Do not apply directly to the water in hydroponic growing systems. Discarded water from hydroponic growing systems may be used in greenhouses and for irrigating site vegetation.
CHEMIGATION:
Apply this product only through sprinkler systems, including center pivot, lateral move, end tow, side (wheel) roll, traveler, bug gun, solid set, or hand move. Do not apply this product through any other type of irrigation system. Crop injury, lack of effectiveness, or illegal pesticide residues in the crop can result from non-uniform distribution of treated water.
