These compact (about 24") plants, provide generous amounts of slim, pointed, vibrant green pods. These pods develop in pairs towards the top of the plant (which makes for easy harvesting) and are about 4" long and stuffed with 9-11 green peas each. The sweet and tender quality of these peas makes for delectable eating, whether you like them frozen, canned or plucked right off the vine. Resistant to Downy Mildew (DM) and Fusarium Wilt (FW).

Sowing Outdoors –
- Direct sow when soil temperatures reach at least 50°F.
- Peas may be sown without tilling by scratching out a furrow and covering the seed shallowly.
- Coat seeds with inoculant to promote healthy, vigorous plants.
- Do not thin peas, as they grow much better in thick stands. Climbing varieties must be sown along a fence or trellis.
Disease Prevention Tips:
- Apply 5-10 pounds of organic high phosphorous fertilizer per 100 row feet to provide the nutrition necessary for optimum production.
- A common pea disease, enation, can be very detrimental, especially in the maritime Northwest. Choose enation-resistant varieties or plant non-enation resistant varieties before mid-March.
