Beet Seeds
Beets are a member of the nutrient rich chenopod family. They come in a rainbow of colors and are easy to grow and easy to eat. Delicious roasted, pickled, steamed or boiled these beauties are rich in phytonutrients called betalains. The greens are a special treat in stir-fry's and soups. The seeds of the beet are unique in that they are actually capsules with 2 or more seeds inside. Since they germinate close together, thinning is essential to the development of a good beet.
