Mole

There are many species of moles worldwide, and at least 5 are present in the United States. Moles are sometimes considered beneficial to gardeners and farmers because they eat insects and grubs. However, they are a nuisance when they demolish lawns and turf grasses in homes and golf courses through their tunneling. They also destroy gardens by separating plant roots from the soil.
