GreenMatch®EX offers organic growers an EFFECTIVE alternative to costly hand weeding, flaming, mowing and cultivation in their battle to keep crops free of weeds. GreenMatch EX is an effective and economical burndown herbicide that is fast-acting, easy to apply and active on a broad spectrum of weeds.
GreenMatch® EX is intended for a contact, non-selective, broad spectrum, foliar herbicide. This product will only control actively growing emerged green vegetation. It controls both annual and perennial broadleaf and grassy weeds. The degree of control is less when the plants are mature or biennial/perennial types. The product does not translocate. It will affect only the portions of plant that are coated with the spray solution. GreenMatch® EX may DAMAGE CROPS; therefore direct spray on weeds or application with hooded spray equipment is recommended to prevent spray from contacting crops.
ORGANIC USE
GreenMatch EX meets the requirements of the NOP Rule for use in organic agriculture. In addition to NOP compliance, GreenMatch EX is listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI). It is also a registered material in the Washington State Department of Agriculture's Organic Food Program (WSDA).
APPLICATION AND MIXING RATES:
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING
Fill the spray tank ½ full and start to recirculation of agitation system. Add adjuvant to label rate in the tank before adding GreenMatch® EX. Add the desired amount of GreenMatch® EX and the remaining amount of water and allow to mix thoroughly. Apply spray solution within four hours of mixing.
Do not allow spray solution to drip, splash or drift onto desirable vegetation.
GreenMatch EX is most effective on weeds less than six inches in height. Multiple applications may be necessary for effective control of larger weeds. Higher water volumes and higher rates will be needed for larger weeds. Complete coverage is essential for control. Leaf damage should be visible on most weeds within hours of application. Cool weather may slow the activity of this product.
